  • Publication number: 20240281087
Abstract: A system includes a position indicator and a processing device which enable a user to intuitively and dynamically specify dimensions and shapes of objects. The position indicator transmits a signal indicative of a pressure applied to a part of the position indicator. The processing device receives the signal indicative of the pressure applied to the part of the position indicator and signals indicative of respective positions of the position indicator. The processing device generates visualization data based on the signal indicative of the pressure applied to the part of the position indicator and the signals indicative of the respective positions of the position indicator. The visualization data defines an object that extends from a predetermined position in a direction that is based on the signal indicative of the pressure applied to the part of the position indicator.

  • Publication number: 20240256460
Abstract: Efficient data transfer between caching domains of a data processing system is achieved by a local coherency node (LCN) of a first caching domain receiving a read request for data associated with a second caching domain, from a requesting node of the first caching domain. The LCN requests the data from the second caching domain via a transfer agent. In response to receiving a cache line containing the data from the second caching domain, the transfer agent sends the cache line to the requesting node, bypassing the LCN and, optionally, sends a read-receipt indicating the state of the cache line to the LCN. The LCN updates a coherency state for the cache line in response to receiving the read-receipt from the transfer agent and a completion acknowledgement from the requesting node. Optionally, the transfer agent may send the cache line via the LCN when congestion is detected in a response channel of the data processing system.

  • Patent number: 12049361
Abstract: Systems and methods for profiling a pallet in a warehouse can include a turntable that rotates the pallet, conveyor belts that move the pallet, and a vertical profiling structure, having cameras mounted at different locations, in a stationary position proximate to a side of the turntable. A photo booth can also be used to provide uniform lighting. A computing system can instruct a conveyor belt to automatically route the pallet onto the turntable, instruct the cameras to capture image data of the pallet as it rotates on the turntable, receive the image data, and retrieve image-based models of the pallet that were trained using images of pallets having unique identifiers. The computing system can determine, based on applying the image-based models to the image data, whether the pallet's unique identifier is identifiable, and transmit, to a warehouse management system, a notification indicating whether the unique identifier is identifiable.

  • Publication number: 20240251165
Abstract: Embodiments are described for a stabilization system configured, in some embodiments, for stabilizing image capture from an aerial vehicle (e.g., a UAV). According to some embodiments, the stabilization systems employs both active and passive stabilization means. A passive stabilization assembly includes a counter-balanced suspension system that includes an elongated arm that extends into and is coupled to the body of a vehicle. The counter-balanced suspension system passively stabilizes a mounted device such as an image capture device to counter motion of the UAV while in use. In some embodiment the counter-balanced suspension system passively stabilizes a mounted image capture assembly that includes active stabilization means (e.g., a motorized gimbal and/or electronic image stabilization). In some embodiments, the active and passive stabilization means operate together to effectively stabilize a mounted image capture device to counter a wide range of motion characteristics.
