  • Patent number: 11633324
Abstract: A massage device has a position adjustable handle along a handle slot that extends along a portion of the cane support. The cane support has a support extension portion, or the long substantially linear portion, an arc portion that extends from the support extension in an arc or cure and a head portion. The handle slot may extend a portion of the length of the cane support and along the support extension to the head portion. A vibration device is coupled to the head end of the cane support and may be decoupled from the cane support by a vibration dampening material that extends around the vibration device within a chamber. The vibration dampening material extend out to form a locking ring between the vibration assembly and the massage head. A user can comfortably hold the massage head against their body without excessive vibration in the cane support or handle.

  • Patent number: 11509695
Abstract: Information associated with a controlled-environment facility resident communications and/or data device, such as device location within the controlled-environment facility, may be used to determine whether the resident device is approved for two-way video visitation or restricted to on-way video visitation. Video visitation may be initiated and voice and video captured and streamed by a non-resident communications and/or data device, as well as voice and/or video captured and streamed by the resident device, is received by a controlled-environment facility electronic communications management system. Voice and video captured at the non-resident device is transmitted to the resident device and, if the resident device is permitted two-way video visitation, voice and video captured by the resident device is transmitted to the non-resident device, if the resident device is restricted to one-way video visitation, only voice is transmitted to the non-resident device.

  • Patent number: 11471790
Abstract: Systems and methods for separation of hydrocarbon containing fluids are provided. More particularly, the disclosure is relevant to separating fluids having a gas phase, a hydrocarbon liquid phase, and an aqueous liquid phase using indirect heating. In general, the system uses a first gas separation followed by pressure reduction and then a second gas separation. Indirect follows the second gas separation and then three-phase separation.

  • Patent number: 11349981
Abstract: The technology discloses intercepting a request to initiate a call configured to utilize one of plurality of call initiation techniques. Next, it is determined when the one of the call initiation techniques in the intercepted request is in a subset of the plurality of call initiation techniques configured to integrate at least a part of media control negotiation and call establishment. One or more fields of the intercepted request is modified to disable the one of the plurality of call initiation techniques that is configured to integrate at least a part of media control negotiation and call establishment when the determination indicates the one of the plurality of call initiation techniques is in the subset. A permission is provided to the first mobile device to initiate the call with the second mobile device using a sequential call establishment and media control negotiation technique.

  • Publication number: 20220097442
Abstract: An envelope sealing and flipping system can be incorporated into a mail inserter system to seal an envelope with a complete unbroken glue line and simultaneously flip the envelope face-up for downstream processing. The system includes a flip cage that receives an envelope and a moveable wetting brush that contacts the flap. The flip cage rotates, causing the flap to drag underneath the wetting brush, and realigning the envelope with a sealer nip which seals the envelope. The flip cage rotates continuously to receive, flip, and seal many envelopes.

  • Patent number: 11122093
Abstract: Systems and methods for recording full quality audio and/or video from a plurality of parties, while also facilitating a real-time conversation or other interaction over low-bandwidth network links are provided. A voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) conversation, or other type of session, is facilitated between two or more parties using methods that reduce sound or video quality to achieve a low-latency connection. During the VoIP conversation, or other type of session, the audio and/or video from each party is recorded directly onto a storage medium of their respective device and stored as one or more data files. These data files can be generally unmodified, or merely lightly modified or compressed, resulting in a higher quality recording of the audio and/or video as compared to the audio and/or video that was transmitted to the other party during the session. The data files are then merged to create a final merged high-quality composite recording of the session.

  • Publication number: 20210063983
Abstract: A building having a network of energy storage and energy consuming assets, which is connected to an alternating current electric supply grid having a normal frequency through an energy management system linked to a server. The energy management system measures over a period of time the energy consumption against time of the energy consuming assets and stores the measurements taken, measures over a period of time the energy stored against time in the energy storing assets and stores the measurements taken. The measurements of energy consumption and energy stored are used to derive the base net energy need in particular time periods. The net energy need in individual time periods is exported to one or more third parties.

  • Patent number: 10638404
Abstract: A communication device may be assigned to a resident of a controlled-environment facility. A data network interface of the resident device establishes a connection with a resident network via one or more network access points located within the facility. A tracking network interface of the resident device transmits location tracking signals received by location tracking devices located within the facility. The resident device connects with the resident network via the data network interface in providing services to the resident. During intervals when the resident device is not connected to the resident network via the data network interface, tracking network interface is used to transmit the location tracking signals.

  • Patent number: 10600090
Abstract: A system of content/query feature based data structure retrieval of predicted values is provided. The system can create a data structure having a plurality of rows corresponding to individual content/query features and a plurality of columns corresponding to individual predicted values. The processors can obtain a set of session features associated with a selection by a computing device in response to a query, and a set of content/query features associated with the selection of the content item. The processors can retrieve, from the data structure, a set of predicted values for each of the set of content/query features. The processors can generate, for each of the set of content/query features, a set of aggregate predicted values for each of the set of content/query features, and can include the set of aggregate predicted values in the data structure.
