Publication number: 20250075464Abstract: Systems and methods for using a two-dimensional (2D) grade control system wherein the 2D grade control system remains enabled both while a blade of a bladed work machine performs a grading operation as the work machine makes a pass along the ground, and remains enabled while the blade is raised as the work machine is repositioned for another pass. Moreover, once enabled, the 2D grade control system can remain enabled, and transition between an active mode, where the 2D grade control system automatically orients the blade, and an inactive mode, wherein the operator may have overridden the 2D grade control system. By remaining enabled during both the active and inactive modes, the operator need not take the extra actions of repeatedly re-enabling the 2D grade control system after each time that the operator may have overridden the 2D grade control system, thereby saving the time and effort of the operator.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 6, 2023Publication date: March 6, 2025Inventors: Daniel M. Publication number: 20250054138Abstract: All X-ray computerized tomography systems that are available or proposed base their reconstructions on measurements that integrate over energy. X-ray tubes produce a broad spectrum of photon energies and a great deal of information can be derived by measuring changes in the transmitted spectrum. We show that for any material, complete energy spectral information may be summarized by a few constants which are independent of energy. A technique is presented which uses simple, low-resolution, energy spectrum measurements and conventional computerized tomography techniques to calculate these constants at every point within a cross-section of an object. For comparable accuracy, patient dose is shown to be approximately the same as that produced by conventional systems. Possible uses of energy spectral information for diagnosis are presented.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 16, 2022Publication date: February 13, 2025Inventors: DIRK SCHAEFER, CHRISTIAN HAASE, MICHAEL GRASS, DANIEL SIMON ANNA RUIJTERS, WOUTER WIGGERS, IVO CANJELS, MARIJKE ANTONIA ADRIANA VAN VLIMMEREN, ROBERT VAN KEULEN, ANGELIQUE BALGUID

Publication number: 20250053924Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for gathering electronic signatures to be applied to collaboration system content objects (e.g., contracts, letters, insurance claims, riders, etc.). A collaboration system monitors changes made to the collaboration system content objects during electronic signature processing. A module of the content management system is configured to associate one or more instances of e-signing metadata to one or more of the stored content objects of the content management system. The e-signing metadata indicates whether or not a particular portion of the one or more of the stored content objects has been e-signed by a designated e-signatory. A collaborator who is not one of the designated e-signatories makes a change to one or more of the stored content objects (e.g., contracts, letters, insurance claims, riders, etc.). The change is remediated on-the-fly and the e-signing process continues without having to restart the e-signing process from the beginning.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 15, 2024Publication date: February 13, 2025Applicant: Box, Inc.Inventors: Seth Morgan Luce VOLTZ, Jón Tómas GRÉTARSSON, Michaël Simon KRENS, Valentin ZBEREA, Rohit BAKSHI, Matthew Phillip HEWES, Daniel KIM, Nachiket DEO, Stephen Philip HILLER, Virender GUPTA

Patent number: 12009597Abstract: An antenna array that utilizes ground guard rings and metamaterial structures is disclosed. In certain embodiments, the antenna array is constructed from a plurality of antenna unit cells, wherein each antenna unit cell is identical. The antenna unit cell comprises a top surface, that contains a patch antenna and a ground guard ring. A reactive impedance surface (RIS) layer is disposed beneath the top surface and contains the metamaterial structures. The metamaterial structures are configured to present an inductance to the patch antennas, thereby allowing the patch antennas to be smaller than would otherwise be possible. In some embodiments, the metamaterial structures comprise hollow square frames. An antenna array constructed using this antenna unit cell has less coupling than conventional antenna arrays, which results in better performance. A ground skirt surrounds the perimeter of the antenna array to improve radiation phase pattern balance within the array.Type: GrantFiled: June 2, 2022Date of Patent: June 11, 2024Assignee: Silicon Laboratories Inc.Inventors: Attila Zólomy, Ádám Süle, Daniel Simon, Kiruba Sankaran Subramani, Terry Lee Dickey, Jeffrey Tindle

Publication number: 20240055978Abstract: Method and system for emergency operation for a modular multilevel converter including a central controller and a plurality of battery modules. The respective battery module is given a respective switching state by the central controller at each switching stroke, through which a respective energy accumulator is connected to a respective energy accumulator of a respectively adjacent battery module. Through a module monitoring, a respectively faulty energy accumulator is reported to the central controller. For the respective battery module with a faulty energy accumulator, a bypass switching state is determined at each further switching stroke. If a threshold value defined by a specified number of faulty energy accumulators tolerable for an operation of the modular multilevel converter is exceeded, an emergency operation is caused, which includes an operating state change from “operation mode” to a “repair mode”; display of the same; and restriction of a further operating time until repair.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 21, 2023Publication date: February 15, 2024Applicant: Dr. Ing. h.c.
