Patent number: 11913587Abstract: A method and system for evaluating the interior surface and exterior wall conditions of a pipeline while also dynamically installing a repair coating in a pipeline, such as an underground water pipeline. The system is towed into the pipeline and drawn back therethrough. As the system is drawn back, one module in the system evaluates the surface condition of the interior of the pipe and another module evaluates the structural condition of the wall of the pipe. Based on the evaluation data obtained from the two modules an epoxy material is applied to the interior surface of the pipe using a spin cast machine that is drawn behind the two modules. Preferably, a layer of epoxy is applied to the interior surface of the host pipe to the appropriate thickness based on the pipe condition as determined by the two modules.Type: GrantFiled: February 26, 2020Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: Warren Environmental & Coatings, LLCInventor: Danny Warren

Patent number: 11867338Abstract: A process and system is provided to allow rehabilitation of asbestos concrete (AC) pipe to remain in place while rendering the AC pipe harmless, in a manner that protects the ecosystem and saves huge amounts of money lost to bypass, digging, remediation and disposal. The method and system provide for encapsulation of the old AC pipe in place without any digging or disruption to the surrounding area. No dewatering is required, saving the costs required with dewatering. There is minimal disruption to the community's use of the piping system while completing the repair, as such repairs can be done on a manhole-to-manhole basis. Finally, there are no hazardous material disposal requirements, or the costs associated therewith.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 2023Date of Patent: January 9, 2024Assignee: Danny Warren Consulting, LLCInventor: Danny Warren

Patent number: 11746182Abstract: A resin composition and method for installing a pipe liner that allows the liner to be fully wet out with a resin and activator and stored for a period of up to six months prior to installation and curing. A method of lining a pipe with a delayed curing resin composition is also provided that includes fully wetting out a liner with a blended two part epoxy composition such that the liner can be transported in a wet out fashion, placed in a pipe to be lined and repositioned as needed without concern for the resin composition to begin curing.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 2021Date of Patent: September 5, 2023Assignee: Warren Environmental & Coatings, LLCInventor: Danny Warren

Patent number: 11749129Abstract: The present invention provides a virtual reality vehicle and/or equipment training system and platform within contextually relevant simulated environments. The system and platform will simulate accurate vehicle and/or equipment dynamics of various vehicles through vehicle modules. The simulated vehicles and/or equipment will be placed within contextually relevant simulated physical environments, and will be able to communicate with other vehicle modules and users of the platform. The system and platform allows for multiple simulated vehicles and/or equipment to exist and interact in the same simulated physical environment. The system allows for rapid development of trainers for different vehicles, different equipment, different physical environments, and different scenarios.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2018Date of Patent: September 5, 2023Assignee: ADGA GROUP CONSULTANTS INC.Inventors: Don MacQuarrie, Danny Warren, Geoff McLeod

Publication number: 20230245583Abstract: A virtual reality vehicle and/or equipment training system and platform within contextually relevant simulated environments. The system and platform simulates accurate vehicle and/or equipment dynamics of various vehicles through vehicle modules. The simulated vehicles and/or equipment are placed within contextually relevant simulated physical environments, and communicate with other vehicle modules and users of the platform. The system and platform allows for multiple simulated vehicles and/or equipment to exist and interact in the same simulated physical environment. The system allows for rapid development of trainers for different vehicles, different equipment, different physical environments, and different scenarios. The characteristics of the system which most directly enable this rapid development are the use of commodity computer hardware, use of common interface-deployment toolkits, and use of a data-driven architecture where participating modules are generic until being configured at runtime.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 13, 2023Publication date: August 3, 2023Inventors: Don MACQUARRIE, Danny WARREN, Geoff MCLEOD

Patent number: 11424045Abstract: A composition and method for spray-applying a two-part, self-setting composition containing a dopant that provides a hazard shielding component and is particularly adapted for delivering the components of the composition at a temperature that promotes their spray application as well as a self-setting reaction. The method includes selecting a self-setting compound that is adapted for curing in place once applied, the self-setting compound including at least one dopant material; and applying the compound to a hazard to be encapsulated such as a radiological, lead, asbestos, or PCB. Alternately, a self-curing compound includes a multi-part compound which, upon a mixing of the parts, chemically reacts and cures, and at least one dopant material dispersed into at least one of the parts, wherein the dopant material is selected for providing radiation shielding upon application of the compound.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 2020Date of Patent: August 23, 2022Assignee: Warren Environmental & Coating, LLCInventors: Danny Warren, Christopher Messier

Patent number: 10612712Abstract: A modular plug for installation into large diameter pipelines that provides a reliable and secure seal within the pipeline to be serviced thereby increasing the safety of the people working on the secured side of the plug. The plug is modular in construction and suited for easy installation within large pipelines. The plug is generally formed as a large circular plate formed from modular sections. Along the division lines the plug pieces include grooves and a gasket therein. Reinforcing jacks extend outwardly from the plug and exert pressure against the pipeline to retain the plug geometry and position. Also, around the periphery of the plug is shown an inflatable rubber seal.Type: GrantFiled: February 9, 2018Date of Patent: April 7, 2020Assignee: Warren Environmental & Coating, LLCInventor: Danny Warren

Publication number: 20200096140Abstract: A distribution system for delivering preheated epoxy material for spray application includes a bundle of lines that terminate on their far end in a manifold. The distribution system is uniquely constructed in a manner such that it delivers the correct materials individually to the manifold while maintaining separate flows of the materials. This separation of the materials until ready for spraying prevents mixing of the two-part epoxy which at the elevated delivery temperatures would result in early curing of the epoxy within the delivery system itself. The bundle of lines contains at least one and preferably two base epoxy delivery lines, at least one catalyst delivery line and at least one heating circuit. The manifold terminates in a static mixer that in turn delivers the mixed epoxy to a spray head for spray application to the substrate.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2018Publication date: March 26, 2020Applicant: Warren Environmental, Inc.Inventor: Danny Warren
