  • Publication number: 20240088609
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure include an electrical connector. The electrical connector includes a plug. The plug includes a plug frame and plug ring-segment assemblies. The plug frame includes plug apertures. Each one of the plug ring-segment assemblies includes a plug ring-segment and a plurality of plug electrical contacts. The electrical connector further includes a receptacle. The receptacle includes a receptacle frame and receptacle ring-segment assemblies. The receptacle frame includes receptacle apertures. Each of the receptacle ring-segment assemblies includes a receptacle ring-segment and a plurality of receptacle electrical contacts. The plug is selectively connectable with the receptacle. When the plug is selectively connected to the receptacle, each one of at least some of the plug electrical contacts is in physical contact with a corresponding one of the receptacle electrical contacts.

  • Publication number: 20050150067
Abstract: A cleaning apparatus includes an elongated housing bounding a chamber with a motor disposed therein. A drive shaft is at least partially disposed within the chamber of the housing, the drive shaft being coupled with the motor such that during selective operation of the motor the drive shaft is rotated continuously. A brush head has a plurality of bristles mounted thereon. A hub is disposed on the brush head and has an elongated channel bounded by a pair of spaced apart engagement surfaces. A spherical head is disposed within the channel so as to selectively bias against the engagement surfaces, the spherical head being eccentrically disposed on the drive shaft such that the spherical head reciprocally rotates the brush head when the drive shaft is continuously rotated.

  • Patent number: 6836862
Abstract: A method and system thereof for monitoring the data transfer integrity of a wireless connection between two devices, in particular two Bluetooth-enabled transceivers. A number of data packets are transmitted from one of the two devices to the other in a first-occurring transmission. The receiving device indicates to the transmitting device whether any of the data packets were not successfully received. Any data packets that were not successfully received are retransmitted. The integrity of the wireless connection is measured, for example, by determining the number of data packets successfully transmitted in the first-occurring transmission relative to the total number of data packets transmitted and retransmitted.

  • Patent number: 6579108
Abstract: A retractable connector (44) includes a base (82) slidably positioned within an electronic card (42). The connector further includes an elongated channel (104) which provides the tracking of the base member between an extended position and a retracted position along an axis. The elongated channel (104) is comprised of a retraction profile (160) for maintaining the base member having the connector thereon in a retracted position and an extension profile (162) for maintaining the base member in an extended position. The extension profile within the channel includes sides or facets including guide posts that facilitate the stopping of the base member from entering into a retracted position when axial forces are initially applied such as during the mating of an external connector with retractable connector of the electronic card.

  • Patent number: 6198632
Abstract: The present invention is designed to have half the thickness of physical/electrical media connectors such as the RJ-11 and the RJ-45 jacks. One embodiment of the present invention is an RJ-11 or an RJ-45 jack with a reduced thickness. The thickness of the present invention permits more than one media jack to be mounted in a Type I or a Type II PCMCIA card. The slim jack can be mounted either to the PCB or to the housing of the PCMCIA cards.
