  • Patent number: 4403690
Abstract: A slide-up handle useful for example in beer boxes is formed from a partition panel and a handle panel. A first handle member is cut from the partition and a second handle forms a portion of the handle panel and the two handles are foldably interconnected at their top edge by a fold line connection. The first handle is provided with a pair of lateral abutments. A pair of straps are positioned one on each side of the second handle and have one end of each strap foldably connected to the handle panel and the opposite end foldably connected to the partition panel by means of fold lines.

  • Patent number: 4401212
Abstract: A bottle carrier is formed by means of first and second panels interconnected by a longitudinally extending fold line. The first panel is provided with a first pair of aperatures spaced longitudinally and symetrically positioned on opposite sides of a transverse line substantially perpendicular to the fold line while the second panel is provided with a second pair of aperatures (larger than the first pair) spaced longitudinally on the second panel symetrically on opposite sides of the transverse line. Connecting passages traverse the longitudinal fold line and connect adjacent of said first and second aperatures. These connecting passages slope from a first aperature towards the adjacent second aperature in a direction away from the transverse line.

  • Patent number: 4345711
Abstract: A partitioned carton having a self erecting bottom formed when the carton is squared, and an inter-locking tab projecting from one of the bottom flaps through an aperture in a partition panel connected to the bottom flap opposite the one bottom flap, the locking projection and aperture are shaped so that the locking projection passes into the aperture as the carton is being squared and locks the carton in an erected position to facilitate filling.

  • Patent number: 4320675
Abstract: In a mandrel for the coaxial external machining of workpieces with internal toothing, a reception sleeve with an external toothing corresponding to the workpiece toothing and having openings along the clamping length extending only on a portion of the circumference of the reception sleeve is provided wherein the reception sleeve is integral over the entire clamping length. A clamping member is disposed with tangential and radial play in the reception sleeve for engaging the workpiece toothing and is thereby turnable with respect to the reception sleeve by which the internal toothing of the workpiece can be brought to bear against the external toothing of the reception sleeve in a circumferential direction. The ends of the clamping member extend through the openings for engaging the workpiece toothing and circumferential parts of the reception sleeve and the ends of the clamping member alternate. The clamping member is turned between a clamping and an unclamping position by a rod.
