  • Patent number: 11615533
Abstract: In one embodiment, an X-ray inspection system may access a first set of X-ray images of one or more first samples that are labeled as being non-conforming. The system may adjust a classification algorithm based on the first set of X-ray images. The classification algorithm may classify samples into conforming or non-conforming categories based on an analysis of corresponding X-ray images. The system may analyze a second set of X-ray images of a number of second samples using the adjusted classification algorithm. The second samples may be previously inspected samples that have been classified as conforming by the classification algorithm during a previous analysis before the classification algorithm is adjusted. The system may identify one or more of the second samples from the second set of X-ray images. Each identified second sample may be classified as non-conforming by the adjusted classification algorithm.

  • Publication number: 20230074567
Abstract: Terminal devices can request and receive authorization to transmit on the same channel for which a serving base station that can serve the terminal devices has authorization to transmit. Upon transmit authorization or termination being received from a spectrum administration system, the base station can autonomously update the system information it broadcasts. Thus, terminal devices connected to the serving base station can be informed about the channel on which the terminal device should request authorization to transmit.

  • Publication number: 20230066201
Abstract: There is a need for more effective and efficient constrained-optimization-based operational load balancing. In one example, a method comprises determining constraint-satisfying operator-unit mapping arrangements that satisfy an operator unity constraint and an operator capacity constraint; for each constraint-satisfying operator-unit mapping arrangement, determining an arrangement utility measure; processing each arrangement utility measure using an optimization-based ensemble machine learning model that is configured to determine an optimal operator-unit mapping arrangement of the plurality of constraint-satisfying operator-unit mapping arrangements; and initiating the performance of one or more operational load balancing operations based on the optimal operator-unit mapping arrangement.

  • Patent number: 11574712
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for the collection and aggregation of genomic, medical, and other data of interest for individuals and populations that may be of interest for analysis, research, pharmaceutical development, medical treatment, and so forth. Contributors become members of a community upon creation of an account and providing of data or files. The data is received and processed, such as to analyze, structure, perform quality control, and curate the data. Value or shares in one or more community databases are computed and attributed to each contributing member. The data is controlled to avoid identification or personalization. Third parties interested in the database information may contribute value (e.g., pay) for access and use. Value flows back to the members and to a system administrative entity.

  • Publication number: 20220376598
Abstract: An apparatus includes a soft start manager such as implemented via hardware, software, or a combination of hardware and software. The soft start manager receives input parameter from a power supply; the input parameter (such as output voltage, duty cycle, input voltage, etc.) is associated with conversion of the input voltage into an output voltage that powers a load. The soft start manager monitors a magnitude of the input parameter. Based at least in part on the magnitude of the input parameter, the soft start manager controls a switching period applied to switch circuitry in the power supply.
