Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating feed in a network-based marketplace are described. The system includes a plexus of aggregation interfaces including a first aggregation interface and a second aggregation interface. The first aggregation interface displays content elements and the second aggregation interface is for reconfiguring a presentation feed. The system communicates the first aggregation interface to a client machine responsive to receiving a first selection via a source feed identifier presented in the first content element of the first presentation interface. The system further communicates the second aggregation interface to the client machine responsive to receiving a second selection, via the first aggregation interface, the second selection identifying the second aggregation interface. The system receives a third selection via the second aggregation interface, the third selection causing removal of the first source feed from the plurality of source feeds that comprise the presentation feed.

Abstract: Feeds in a network-based marketplace are described. The system receives a request, over a network, from a user that is associated with feed selection information, and identifies source feeds based on the feed selection information. The source feeds respectively include a first plurality of content elements. The system generates a presentation feed by retrieving a second plurality of content elements from the source feeds. The generating is performed continuously and in real-time. The system segments the presentation feed into pages and generates interfaces that include a first interface based on the pages. The system communicates the first interface, over the network, to the user, responsive to the receiving of the request.

Abstract: An assembly of parts has a first metal part having a first surface having a corrosion resistant surface treatment and a second surface being free of corrosion resistant surface treatment, a second metal part having a third surface having a corrosion resistant surface treatment and a fourth surface being free of corrosion resistant surface treatment. The second metal part defines a recess that defines the fourth surface. The first and third surfaces are in contact. A conductive member is disposed at least in part in the recess and is in contact with the second and fourth surfaces. A sealing member disposed in the recess around the conductive member. A sacrificial anode is mounted and conductively connected to one of the first and second metal parts.

Abstract: A window blind handle comprising: a first half; a second half; a slot extending along the length of an inner surface of the first half, where the slot is adapted to receive strings of a window blind; and a lip extending along the length of an inner surface of the second half, where the lip joins and inserts into the slot when the first half and second half are placed in a closed position. The window blind handle may further include a means to connect the inner surface of the first half to the inner surface of the second half. Preferably, the means to connect includes at least one opening on the inner surface of the first half and at least one connector on the inner surface of the second half, where the at least one connector inserts into the at least one opening to join the first half to the second half.

Abstract: A cord containment device that includes: an oval shaped container, where the container includes a bottom portion and a top portion: a lid that forms the top portion, where the lid seals the container; a surface and a side wall that form the bottom portion; a plurality of cord guides over the surface; and a plurality of inlet/outlets around the sidewall. In one embodiment, a plurality of ports may be aligned between the plurality of inlet/outlets. Each inlet/outlet preferably includes a flap opening and each flap opening is made of rubber.

Abstract: An integrated finding experience is a workflow configured to facilitate a search by a user for one or more items among many items (e.g., an inventory of items). An integrated finding experience machine may provide one or more user interfaces that support the workflow in presenting information differently as the user progresses through a search process (e.g., a finding experience) with respect to a database (e.g., storing information regarding one or more items). For example, the workflow may include various stages of a search process from defining a query, to refining the query, to visually scanning search results, to displaying details of one or more selected search results, to comparing selected search results to each other. Each stage may have a specialized user interface configured to facilitate one or more user activities pertinent to that stage.

In at least one embodiment, the placing of the first side wager includes placing first wager on a game play-related event or activity associated with the second person, wherein an outcome of the game play-related event or activity is influenced by a decision or action of the second person.

Abstract: A method for increasing and optimizing the value of airport terminal exterior advertising is provided that significantly increases exposure of exterior advertising displays on the airside or non-public side of an airport terminal to passengers on arriving, parked, and departing aircraft. The movement of aircraft equipped with non-engine drive means on landing gear wheels for autonomous ground movement is controlled within an airport ramp area so that the aircraft moves in only a forward direction toward and away from a terminal parking place and parks in an orientation parallel to the terminal. The direction and orientation of aircraft ground travel and parking parallel to a terminal enhances and improves the visibility of exterior advertising displays to a maximum percentage of the passengers in the aircraft as the aircraft travels within the ramp area and parks between arrival and departure.

In some embodiments, a method is provided that includes: (a) receiving an image of the negotiable instrument, wherein the image of the negotiable instrument comprises one or more elements that are used for processing the negotiable instrument; (b) capturing, using the image capture device, images of one or more elements of the negotiable instrument; (c) generating a thumbnail image of the negotiable instrument based at least partially on an image of the negotiable instrument; and (d) storing the images of the one or more elements of the negotiable instrument and the thumbnail image of the negotiable instrument in the database.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include systems, methods, and computer-program products for providing recreated image documents using templates or generic control documents. In this way, an entity may store limited amounts of image data from an original document and subsequently recreate the document image using document templates. As such, the invention may compile templates for image documents. Upon receiving a document from a transaction for storage, the system may store the metadata associated with that document, instead of storing the entire document as a high resolution image file. Using the template, in combination with the metadata, the system may recreate the image as a system generated image for user recall and reconciliation.

Abstract: A device for collecting objects is provided which includes a frame formed with a peripheral groove that surrounds an orifice. Also included is a retainer member that is dimensioned to be received into the peripheral groove of the frame. A bag having an opening which is surrounded by a rim portion is held with its rim in the peripheral groove of the frame, This is accomplished by a fixed engagement between the frame and the retainer member. With this engagement, objects can be introduced into the bag, through the orifice of the frame, for collection.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include systems, methods, and computer-program products for providing recreated image documents using image lift data. In this way, an entity may store limited amounts of image data from an original document and subsequently recreate the document image using image lift data. As such, the invention may receive an image document for storage. Upon receiving a document from a transaction for storage, the system may store metadata associated with that document, instead of storing the entire document as a high resolution image file. Furthermore, the system may determine specific unique elements of the document (such as signatures or the like) to capture as an image file. This allows the unique element to be lifted as image data. Using the lifted image data, in combination with the metadata, the system may recreate the image as a system generated image for user recall and reconciliation.

An online order for local delivery of an item to a consumer is received. A current location of the consumer is determined. A store having a least transit time from the current location of the consumer that has the item in stock is determined. Then, a valet having a least transit time to the determined store is determined. A job may be assigned to the valet having the least transit time to the determined store.
