  • Publication number: 20220216027
Abstract: A charged particle beam source for a surface processing apparatus is disclosed. The charged particle beam source comprises: a plasma chamber; a plasma generation unit adapted to convert an input gas within the plasma chamber into a plasma containing charged particles; and a grid assembly adjacent an opening of the plasma chamber. The grid assembly comprises one or more grids each having a plurality of apertures therethrough, the one or more grids being electrically biased in use so as to accelerate charged particles from the plasma through the grid(s) to thereby output a charged particle beam, the major axis of which is substantially perpendicular to the plane of the grid assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220058723
Abstract: Customer-device application sites (e.g., content presented via a progressive web applications) that are accessible via merchant-managed identifiers (e.g., identification codes) are described. An identification of a physical location associated with a merchant can be associated with an identification code. The identification code can be received from a computing device of a customer and, based at least in part on receiving the identification code, merchant data associated with the merchant can be caused to be presented via a web browser of the computing device of the customer. In an example, the merchant data can be presented via the web browser by a progressive web application downloaded onto the computing device of the customer via the web browser. An indication of an input received via the progressive web application can be received by the computing device of the customer and an operation based at least in part on the input can be performed.

  • Publication number: 20210322197
Abstract: A wearable orthotic appliance to which at least one corrective element for correcting neuromuscular imbalances may be removably attached is made of fabric assembly held in compressive tension when worn by a user, the fabric assembly including a cavity or chamber into which the corrective element may be placed and secured at any of a plurality of continuously-adjustable positions. Maintenance of the corrective element position during use of the appliance may be assisted by establishing a compression gradient over selected areas of the appliance during assembly. The wearable orthotic appliance may be a shirt, vest, body suit, or other garment or article of clothing, and the corrective elements may be weights, electrodes, or other discrete elements whose therapeutic effect depends on proper positioning relative to the wearer's torso or other body parts.

  • Patent number: 10748099
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods that enable both the real-time monitoring and historical tracking of events and actions performed by disparate systems and software applications associated with a computing device that also permit insight into the relationships between such events and actions. The inventive systems and methods synchronously and asynchronously capture event data from various event sources associated with a computing device. The event data can be enriched before correlating associated event data into transactions resulting in telemetry information to provide a more accurate and complete picture of what activities the computing device is performing and how the computing device is utilized to accomplish particular tasks. This telemetry information enables the system to perform descriptive and predictive analytical processes as well as artificial intelligence that provide valuable insights to improve end user and system performance.

  • Patent number: 10742649
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods that enable secure authentication to a network and virtual environment setup. An end point computing device combines data input by a user with stored data to determine an IP address where login credentials can be transmitted for authentication. The end point device transmits system information to a provider front end computing device for authentication. In this manner, a user identity and the end point device can be authenticated without the need to store identifying information to the end point device or communicate with a provider's secure back end network. The provider devices determine permissions data that define the user's ability to interact with the provider's network. The provider front end device transmits settings data to the end point device that is used to connect to the provider's network and establish a virtual working environment.
