  • Publication number: 20160364665
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating participation in a remote meeting or virtual conference are described. A client device can detect an upcoming calendar event and, based on a record associated with the calendar event, identify elements for participating in the event, as well as one or more access codes associated with the one or more participation elements. A notification can be displayed to a user, the notification including a prompt for selection by the user to automatically initiate participation in the event. After initiating the user's participation in the event, an interface can be displayed to the user including a link to the access code corresponding to the participation element(s) used to initiate participation in the event. Upon selection of the link, the access code can be automatically provided to the service hosting the event.

  • Publication number: 20160196182
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method includes issuing a read request to read one or more units of data from at least one non-volatile random access memory (NVRAM) device. The read request includes one or more read voltage thresholds. The method also includes receiving the one or more data units and read command parameters used to read the one or more data units from the at least one NVRAM device. Moreover, the method includes storing error-free data units, the read command parameters used to read the error-free data units from the at least one NVRAM device, and a read completion status to one of a plurality of read buffers. The read completion status indicates a completed read when a data unit is error-free and indicates an incomplete read when a data unit is errored.

  • Patent number: 8823561
Abstract: A de-mapping circuit for de-mapping input words of a first length into output words of a second length different from the first length. In one embodiment, the circuit includes a word register of the first length and temporary registers of the second length. The word register successively stores each of the inputs words in response to cycles of a clock. The temporary registers temporarily store the output words. Multiplexers configured by address signals select bits from stored input words and store the selected bits into the temporary registers to form temporarily stored output words.

  • Patent number: 8165164
Abstract: A mapping circuit is provided for mapping first data words into frames of second data words, wherein the first and second data words are of different length. In addition, a de-mapping circuit is provided for de-mapping the frames of second data words into the first data words. The mapping and de-mapping is responsive to address signals that may be stored in a memory such that a desired mapping or de-mapping corresponds to a particular programming of the memory. In this fashion, the mapping and de-mapping is in-system reconfigurable.

  • Publication number: 20110011549
Abstract: A process for molding recyclable, compostable, and disposable containers made of pulp paper is disclosed herein. The process includes disposing a wet pulp layer on a male or female mold, mating the mold with its counterpart, and applying a force on the pulp layer to remove moisture and thin the pulp. The process continues by applying a vacuum to either the male or female mold to hold the pulp layer, and removing the other mold. The process further comprises sequentially mating male and female molds until the pulp layer is the desired thickness and shape of the container. Embodiments of the process may include molding pulp containers to include pleats, stability features, reverse draft features, and puffed pulp configurations.

  • Patent number: 7858015
Abstract: Methods for making a molded beverage container insulator from a slurry including water and a polysaccharide by presenting at least one male mold, which may have an elliptical cross section, therein and causing a portion of the slurry to temporarily adhere to the at least one mold. After a suitable period of time, removing the mold from the slurry and then removing the insulator. At such time, and particularly if the mold is not characterized as elliptical in cross section, the insulator is subject to bidirectional compression in order to collapse the same. Opposing hinge elements may be formed in the insulator, either at the time of molding or subsequently, to localize stresses resulting from the collapsing of the insulator. The resulting insulator is fully recyclable/compostable and possesses a constricting bias to mitigate container slip issues.
