Patent number: 11729630Abstract: A technique is directed to methods and systems of virtual site inspections. In some embodiments, a network operator navigates a drone which captures image data of equipment and layout of a site. The image data is processed and used to generate a 3D model of the site. A network operator virtually installs new equipment in the virtual representation of the site, and presents the 3D model of the site, with the new equipment in the proposed location, to a permitting authority. The permitting authority can review the 3D model of the new equipment at the site and approve or deny authorization for the network operator to physically install the equipment at the site. After the new equipment is installed, a network operator can capture image data of the installed equipment at the site to prove to the permitting authority that the equipment was installed at the site according to regulation.Type: GrantFiled: August 17, 2021Date of Patent: August 15, 2023Assignee: DISH Wireless L.L.C.Inventors: Mark McGarey, Zane Edwards, Brad Cole, Luis Acuna, David Robinson, Mark Beecy

Patent number: 11674145Abstract: Provided herein are methods for integrating a gene of interest into a chromosome of a host cell. In some embodiments, the methods include introducing into a host cell a first plasmid comprising a transposase coding sequence and a donor sequence, which includes a selectable marker coding sequence flanked by a first and a second lox site and is itself flanked by inverted repeats recognized by the transposase. Following transposase-mediated chromosomal integration of the donor sequence into the host cell, a second plasmid is introduced, which comprises the gene of interest and a second selectable marker coding sequence, both flanked by a first and a second lox site. The gene of interest is chromosomally integrated into the host cell by recombinase-mediated cassette exchange (RMCE) between the donor sequence and the second plasmid via Cre-/cuc recombination. Further provided herein are host cells, vectors, and methods of producing a product related thereto.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2017Date of Patent: June 13, 2023Assignee: THE REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIAInventors: Yasuo Yoshikuni, Gaoyan Wang, Zhiying Zhao, Robert Cameron Coates, Jan-Fang Cheng, David Robinson

Patent number: 11551813Abstract: A next-best-action system includes real-time operation and off-line training and processes. During off-line training databases of medical conditions and associated diagnostic factors, tests and treatments are used to create models used for later natural language processing of input electronic text. Diagnostic factors are ranked according to the probability that they indicate conditions and are stored in a matrix. Treatments corresponding to conditions are also stored in a matrix. During real-time operation electronic text is received from patient history of an EHR system, from a transcribed conversation between a physician and a patient, or from input that the physician makes in the EHR system or in an overlaid diagnostic user interface. The electronic text is processed by an NLP pipeline that derives clinical diagnostic factors and test results for the patient.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 2022Date of Patent: January 10, 2023Assignee: Recovery Exploration Technologies Inc.Inventors: Carl Bate Tulley, Robert Derward Rogers, Jennifer May Lee, David A. Publication number: 20230004960Abstract: A system for managing and using digital financial assets, such as cryptocurrency uses multiple independent devices that mutually cooperate to control cryptocurrency assets in a secure manner. Each of these devices may store a unique private key associated with the cryptocurrency assets, which may be configured such that a certain minimum number of these private keys are required to transfer the cryptocurrency assets. The use of multiple private keys spread across multiple distinct devices may reduce the likelihood of loss stemming from a hardware failure or reduce the likelihood of an attacker successfully gaining access to the cryptocurrency assets. In addition, selection of the devices to be used for storing these private keys, as well as how many private keys are required to authorize a transaction, may be tailored to balance a user's preferences for reliability of access versus security and for third-party custody versus self-custody.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 30, 2022Publication date: January 5, 2023Applicant: Block, Inc.Inventors: Max Guise, Justin Williams, Jesse Posner, Alexander Schoof, Jordan Mecom, Arvin Aminpour, Allison Moyer, Kirill Zhukov, David Robinson, Bradley Ryan, Ryan Lanman, Lindsey Grossman
