  • Patent number: 11724402
Abstract: A touch screen testing platform may be used to engage a dynamically positioned target feature being displayed on a touch screen enabled device during a testing protocol. The platform may record imagery displayed by the touch screen device and then analyze the imagery to locate the target feature within a reference coordinate system. The platform may recognize that the target feature is missing from the imagery and respond by causing the touch screen device to scroll through a command menu and/or toggle through virtual screens. Once located, the platform may instruct a robotic device tester to select the target feature by contacting the touch screen at the identified location using a conductive tip designed to simulate a user's fingertip. Prior to running a test, the camera may be focused to a point that is offset from the display screen of the touch screen device.

  • Publication number: 20230254760
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system detects user equipment (UE) in communication with a network via a serving cell of the network; the network is configured to facilitate communications by one or more terrestrial UEs and one or more aerial UEs. The system monitors messages from an aerial UE regarding detection of a cell other than the serving cell, and receives information from the aerial UE regarding the detected cell. The method further includes analyzing the information to estimate a first quantity associated with the detected cell location relative to the serving cell and a second quantity associated with a power received at the aerial UE from the detected cell. The method also includes determining, based on the analyzing, whether the aerial UE is an unauthorized aerial UE. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20230254775
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system of a first network element receives information indicating that a user equipment (UE) support dual connectivity with first and second inter-radio access technologies (IRATs). The UE is enabled to communicate with a second network element using the second IRAT. The system provides to the UE uplink power configurations for data transmissions between the UE and the network elements, and performs a closed loop control procedure that includes determining a first transmit power control (TPC) value for first data transmissions from the UE and a second TPC value for second data transmissions from the UE, and adjusting the first TPC value and the second TPC value to allocate UE uplink transmission power between the first IRAT and the second IRAT. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11721606
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for a memory device with a high resistivity thermal barrier are described. In some examples a barrier material may be positioned over a memory cell region, an oxide region, and/or a through-silicon via (TSV). The barrier may include a first region above the memory cell region and a second region above the TSV. A process, such as a plasma treatment, may be applied to the barrier, which may result in the first and second regions having different thermal resistivities (e.g., different densities). Accordingly, due to the different thermal resistivities, the memory cells may be thermally insulated from thermal energy generated in the memory device.

  • Patent number: 11710121
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for the direct sharing and use of transaction data separately from transaction authorization processes. Transaction metadata associated with a transaction may be received and validated. Authorization information corresponding to the transaction may be received. The degree to which the transaction metadata is tested may be based on a predicted time of receipt of the authorization information. The transaction metadata and authorization information may be correlated. A computing device may determine whether to authorize the financial transaction based on the authorization information and the correlated transaction metadata. All or portions of the transaction metadata may be provided to one or more users after the transaction has been authorized or denied.
