  • Publication number: 20230286669
Abstract: An over-pressure vent (OPV) system is provided for a fuel tank of an aircraft. The OPV system includes an OPV valve configured to be coupled in fluid communication with a supply line of a nitrogen enriched air distribution system (NEADS) such that the OPV valve is configured to vent pressure from the supply line. The OPV valve is configured to be coupled in fluid communication with the supply line upstream from an outlet of the supply line from which the NEADS delivers nitrogen enriched gas to the fuel tank. The OPV valve is configured to sense a pressure within the supply line upstream from the outlet of the supply line.

  • Publication number: 20230273793
Abstract: An execution unit circuit for use in a processor core provides efficient use of area and energy by reducing the per-entry storage requirement of a load-store unit issue queue. The execution unit circuit includes a recirculation queue that stores the effective address of the load and store operations and the values to be stored by the store operations. A queue control logic controls the recirculation queue and issue queue so that that after the effective address of a load or store operation has been computed, the effective address of the load operation or the store operation is written to the recirculation queue and the operation is removed from the issue queue, so that address operands and other values that were in the issue queue entry no longer require storage. When a load or store operation is rejected by the cache unit, it is subsequently reissued from the recirculation queue.

  • Publication number: 20230242211
Abstract: A gearbox may include a drive spindle and several interconnected gear clusters arranged in a housing. A first of the gear clusters is coaxially fastened to the spindle, and has an outboard gear and an inboard gear. The first gear cluster drives a belt or chain to operate one or more of the other gear clusters, and the inboard gear is physically divided into a plurality of segments. A shifting system for the gearbox includes an actuator configured to urge the segments of the inboard gear of the first gear cluster into and out of the plane of the belt or chain via a toggle and slider mechanism, such that a gear ratio of the gearbox is changeable without displacing the belt or chain out of the plane.

  • Publication number: 20230245324
Abstract: Techniques for performing fine-scale movement tracking of underwater objects are described. A computing device or system may receive timestamps corresponding to acoustic signals detected using an underwater acoustic receiver. The device or system may select a period of a known acoustic transmitter, and generate raw image data plotting the timestamps as graphical elements with respect to a first axis corresponding to linear time, and a second axis having a magnitude corresponding to the selected period. A first machine learning (ML) model may process the raw image data to generate segmented image data include a subset of the graphical elements determined to correspond to the selected period. A portion of the segmented image data, including the graphical elements, may be input to a second ML model to generate image data comprising a subset of the graphical elements corresponding to the selected period.
