Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing a marketing budget allocation service associated with an optimization and simulation engine in a data analytics system. The marketing budget allocation service is a marketing expenditure optimization service that provides marketing budget allocation intelligence and visualizations based on data analysis and business information (e.g., prior hypothesis input data or scenario input data). The marketing budget allocation service is based on a service pipeline that includes a set of allocation intelligence data processors and operations that are used to generate output that is managed (e.g., visualized, presented, and revised) using a data analytics user interface. In operation, based on analyzing marketing budget allocation data—via an allocation service analytics computation model, marketing budget allocation results data are generated.

  • Publication number: 20230115510
Abstract: A process for producing light olefins comprising thermal cracking. Hydrocracked streams are thermally cracked to produce light olefins. A pyrolysis gas stream is separated into a light pyrolysis gas stream and a heavy pyrolysis gas stream. A light pyrolysis gas stream is separated into a normal paraffins stream and a non-normal paraffins stream. A normal paraffins stream is thermally cracked. The integrated process may be employed to obtain olefin products of high value from a crude stream.

  • Publication number: 20230111818
Abstract: In various embodiments, a process for assessing transactional graphs based on generator-discriminator networks includes using a generator network to generate a first set of transaction graph samples that are of a generated type, wherein the generator network is trained to optimize a predetermined objective function. The process includes sampling, from a collected dataset, a second set of transaction graph samples that are of a non-generated type; and providing the first set of transaction graph samples and the second set of transaction graph samples to a discriminator network, wherein the discriminator network is trained to classify a provided transaction graph sample as the generated type or the non-generated type. The process includes discriminating, by the discriminator network, each of at least a portion of the first set of transaction graph samples and the second set of transaction graph samples as the generated type or the non-generated type.

  • Publication number: 20230115018
Abstract: A technique for selectively configuring a case of a handheld device to shield an antenna from receiving or transmitting wireless signals is disclosed. The technique includes moving a blocking element on the case between a first position and a second position. The blocking element is a physical structure that is rotatable, slidable, or removable to switch between the first position and the second position. In response to moving the blocking element to the first position, the blocking element blocks wireless signals received or transmitted by the antenna of the handheld device. In response to moving the blocking element to the second position, wireless signals can be received or transmitted through the case by the antenna.

  • Publication number: 20230114788
Abstract: A tank system may be conventional and fixed, or mobile, such as a fracking fluid or other tank trailer. A drain port thereof is fitted with an adapter connecting a snorkel system to drain liquids from near the top of the liquid level in the tank. A snorkel head at the extreme distal end of a tube near the longitudinal center of the tank is suspended by a system of buoys. A flow field controller plate resists formation of vortices near the snorkel head, so it can operate as near the surface as possible, withdrawing the highest grade oil efficiently. At its exit, the proximal end of the tube drains oil through an inner conduit of an adapter at a penetration in the wall of the tank. The adapter forms an annulus around the inner conduit draining tank bottoms directly from the tank.

  • Publication number: 20230112765
Abstract: Method and systems for driving an aiming assembly of a barcode imager are provided. An example method includes obtaining an operating mode of the barcode imager having an aiming assembly and, in response, determining a duty cycle of an aiming pulse of the aiming assembly. That duty cycle is determined as a percentage of a frame duration of an imager sensor and, further, such that simultaneous constraints are satisfied by the aiming pulse. The constraints include a simultaneous frame duration-independent, peak pulse optical power constraint and a frame duration-dependent heat dissipation constraint.

  • Publication number: 20230114921
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses related to a memory fault map for an accelerated neural network. An artificial neural network can be accelerated by operating memory outside of the memory's baseline operating parameters. Doing so, however, often increases the amount of faulty data locations in the memory. Through creation and use of the disclosed fault map, however, artificial neural networks can be trained more quickly and using less bandwidth, which reduces the neural networks' sensitivity to these additional faulty data locations. Hardening a neural network to these memory faults allows the neural network to operate effectively even when using memory outside of that memory's baseline operating parameters.
