  • Patent number: 9453699
Abstract: A compound crossbow including a stock having a forward end and a rearward end. The crossbow includes a bow assembly mounted to the forward end of the stock and a retractable support lever operatively connected to the stock by a pivot point hinge. The retractable support lever is pivotable about the pivot point hinge between a retracted position, in which the retractable support lever is folded against the stock lower portion, and an extended position, in which the retractable support lever extends rearward from the pivot point hinge such that a distal end of the retractable support lever is positioned rearward of the rearward end of the stock. The crossbow may further include a guide configured to house and retain a knife within a receptacle of the stock lower portion.

  • Patent number: 9395154
Abstract: A weapon stabilizing device for stabilizing a weapon during use. The device includes a spool member configured to release and retract an anchor line with rotation of the spool member. A lock member prevents rotation of the spool member in a locked position and allows rotation of the spool member in a released position. Actuation of an activation member switches the lock member from a default position to an activated position. The default position may be the locked position or the released position. When the default position is the locked position, the activated position is the released position. When the default position is the released position, the activated position is the locked position. A spool spring may provide continuous positive rotation of the spool member in the released position. The weapon stabilizing device may be connected to or within a base of a weapon.

  • Patent number: 9395143
Abstract: An arrow retainer for a crossbow including a projection extending from a hood of the crossbow to retain an arrow on a stock of the crossbow. A plurality of projections may be affixed to a retainer insert that is detachably disposed within a receptacle in the hood of the crossbow. Alternatively, the retainer insert may be detachably disposed within a recess of a housing that is detachably connected to the hood of the crossbow. A spring may bias the projection toward the stock. The projection may be formed of bristles or of a circumferential surface of a wheel member.

  • Publication number: 20160195354
Abstract: A crossbow track assembly includes a crossbow track having a top surface and a side surface. The top surface includes an arrow track. The side surface includes a longitudinal passage leading to a longitudinal cavity. The side surface forms an upper shoulder and a lower shoulder of the longitudinal cavity. A second side surface may include a second longitudinal passage leading to a second longitudinal cavity. The second side surface may form an upper shoulder and a lower shoulder of the second longitudinal cavity. The crossbow track assembly may further include a crossbow accessory including an accessory body operatively connected to a plug, which is dimensioned to fit within the longitudinal cavity of the crossbow track for securing the accessory body to the crossbow track. The accessory body may be adjustably connected to the plug with a fastener. Alternatively, the plug may be in sliding engagement with the longitudinal cavity.

  • Publication number: 20150256785
Abstract: Methods and implementations of using a device interface cable assembly are described herein. In some examples, a modular cable and device interface cable assembly may connect a control system such as a home automation control system to a device control port on a device such as a television. A controller device may use the device interface cable assembly and modular cable to send or receive commands and status messages to or from a remote device. Customized commands may provide direct access to all of the functionality in the remote device, and may avoid the need to navigate a series of menus on the remote device. The modular cable and device interface cable assembly may provide two-way communication between the control system and the remote device. Two-way communication may include verification of command message or gestures, or may include retrieval of remote device status information.
