  • Patent number: 12128537
Abstract: A rotary tool assembly includes a rotary tool having a body with a working end and a rear end, a motor disposed within the body, and a drive shaft rotatably driven by the motor. A base of the rotary tool assembly includes a battery receptacle configured to receive a battery pack and a stand for supporting the rotary tool when the rotary tool is not in use. The stand includes two arms defining a tool receptacle therebetween in which the rotary tool is supported. A power cord extends between the base and the rotary tool to transfer electric power from the base to the rotary tool to selectively power the motor. The battery pack is received in the battery receptacle for form a foot of the base.

  • Publication number: 20200369563
Abstract: The systems and methods of forming optical fiber coatings with reduced defects include moving a bare optical fiber through first and second coating sub-systems. The first coating sub-system forms a first coating on the bare optical fiber by depositing a first coating material and then curing the deposited first coating material with actinic light. This process also results in the formation of stray actinic light. The process also includes moving the coated optical fiber through a second coating sub-system to form a second coating on the first coating. A light-blocking device resides between the first and second coating sub-systems to block the stray actinic light. Without the light-blocking device, the stray actinic light can enter the second coating sub-system and reach the second coating material therein and form a gel therefrom, which in turn leads to defects in the coated optical fiber exiting the second coating sub-system.

  • Publication number: 20050211739
Abstract: The “cargo carry” concealed weapons holster system is a unique system of an elastic belt, two loop sliders of soft loop velcro to go over the belt with hanging straps of hook velcro attached to the loops. Attaching straps of soft loop velcro are attached to the holsters and attach to the hanging straps for vertical adjustment. The holster is made of two six inch square pieces, one piece of hook velcro and one piece or side of loop velcro pressed together and sewn on the vertical edges. Elastic leg straps are attached to each holster. The system is designed and tailored to be used or worn exclusively with cargo pocket pants or cargo pocket shorts with the holsters in three different carry methods fitting under or in the cargo pockets themselves.
