  • Publication number: 20240298707
Abstract: An aerosol delivery device includes an electrical power source, an induction receiver configured to receive a substrate including an aerosol precursor composition such that the induction receiver is in proximity to the substrate, and a wireless power transmitter including an induction transmitter. The induction transmitter is configured to removably receive the induction receiver such that the induction transmitter surrounds the induction receiver. The induction transmitter receive electrical current from the electrical power source that causes the induction transmitter to generate an oscillating magnetic field, and the induction receiver generates heat via eddy currents induced at the induction receiver when exposed to the oscillating magnetic field and thereby heats the aerosol precursor composition to produce an aerosol. Related methods are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240229752
Abstract: A fuel injector assembly including a member and a seat. The member has a first center along a longitudinal axis. The member has a curved surface and a flat surface. The curved surface has a radius of curvature greater than a width of the member. The flat surface is axially opposed to the curved surface. The seat has a second center disposed on the longitudinal axis. The seat is positioned distal from the flat surface defining a flow path in an open position of the fuel injector assembly and is in confronting relation to the flat surface such that the second center is concentric to the first center forming a sealing interface in a closed position of the fuel injector assembly.

  • Patent number: 11520832
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide techniques for dynamic response management. Weather data for a geographic region is received, and a state of the geographic region is determined based on the weather data. A first predefined rule of a plurality of predefined rules is identified based on the determined state of the geographic region. A first role of a first user is determined. A first instruction is then generated for the first user based on the first predefined rule and the first role, where the first instruction comprises one or more actions. The first instruction is then transmitted to the first user.

  • Patent number: 10914239
Abstract: Disclosed is a high-speed section disconnect for a driven turbocharger with a traction drive. The turbo shaft is attached to a turbine and compressor, and interfaces with a high-speed traction drive. A mechanical coupling connects the traction drive to a transmission, which is connected to the engine so that power can flow to or from the turbo shaft, but the mechanical coupling can be selectively disconnected so that the high-speed section of the driven turbocharger can also be decoupled from the engine during certain operating conditions to reduce mechanical losses in the system.
