Abstract: A continuous grounding system for use in an alternating current system including a transformer is disclosed. The system includes a switch assembly connected between a transformer neutral of a transformer and a ground, the switch assembly having an open position and a closed position, the open position disrupting the path through the switch assembly between the electrical connection and the transformer neutral, and the closed position establishing a path connecting the electrical connection to the transformer neutral through the switch assembly, wherein in normal operation of the alternating current electrical device the switch assembly remains in a closed position. The system also includes a DC blocking component positioned in parallel with the switch assembly and connected between the transformer neutral and the ground.

  • Publication number: 20100304818
Abstract: An innovative application to any poker-type card game that is effective in all forums from live hosted-establishment play to electronic venues such as video terminals, standalone video game consoles, computer terminals, and any networked combination thereof which may be centrally served. The X CHIP application to both electronic and live card games in essence replaces the betting round with an option round, which consists of the choice to exercise the option to fold through surrender of one of the X option chips and perhaps stay in the game long enough to win the pot. When optimally applied, the X CHIP application will heighten attraction to the game, increase game rate of play, and effectively increase table revenues.

  • Publication number: 20050211423
Abstract: A dynamic fin system (DFS) achieves fin rotation passively via water flow so that no direct active control of fin rotation is required by the watercraft operator. The DFS, using a combination of fin rotation via at least one axle and resistive forces applied to a fin mounting tab, provides an assembly in which a fin can pivot from side to side in a reliable, effective and simple way. The DFS provides ease in turning and stability at a neutral position while minimizing the amount of flow resistance. The DFS provides a strong fin mounting, and uses a combination of an axle for rotational control, a resistive centering force, and a force preload for stabilizing the fin in the neutral position. The DFS provides a mount for a rotating fin in a watercraft hull that supports repositioning of the rotating fin axis both forward and rearward in the hull.
