Abstract: Rack-type backlight light emitting element (LEE) printed circuit boards (PCBs) with at least two layers to provide redundant current paths. This enables a PCB strip to be broken at designated perforations in the field in order to accommodate pipes or fixtures that require formation of a gap in the rack array. The entire length and width of an array can be sized in the field. A plurality of PCB arrays can be serially chained together with the system. A chain of PCB strips is snapped into clips, which in turn snap into rails that are fastened to a surface. The mounting system includes various types of clips, such as end clips, clips for different LEE patterns on the PCBs, and mounting clips to secure the rails to a surface.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for creating, exporting, viewing and testing, and importing custom applications in a multitenant database environment. These mechanisms and methods can enable embodiments to provide a vehicle for sharing applications across organizational boundaries. The ability to share applications across organizational boundaries can enable tenants in a multi-tenant database system, for example, to easily and efficiently import and export, and thus share, applications with other tenants in the multi-tenant environment.

Abstract: An excimer laser system includes first and second gas cylinders connected to a laser chamber for selectively supplying the laser chamber with gases that are needed to generate and emit laser pulsations having a certain energy level from the laser chamber. At least one of the first and second gas cylinders includes a halogen gas. The halogen gas is consumed during the operation of the excimer laser system. A computer system, included within the excimer laser system, is used to determine whether to resupply the laser chamber with halogen gas from the first and/or second cylinders, or to entirely flush out the gas contents of the laser chamber, and to resupply the flushed gas chamber with gas sourced from the first and/or second cylinders.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for performing a search from another individual's social perspective. A name or a portion of a name of an individual known by the user is received. A directory search is then performed pertaining to the individual known by the user. After the user identifies the known individual from the directory search results, a selection to perform a directory, content or document search from the known individual's social perspective is received. Such a search may be performed based on the social network of the known individual. In this manner, by performing such searches from the social perspective of the known individual, such as the individual who disclosed the name of the individual who the user would like to contact, the user will be more likely to identify the correct individual, content or document in a more efficient manner.

Abstract: LED lighting sheets feature foldable light-sheets including multiple illumination modules electrically interconnected such that unremoved illumination units remain energized upon removal of one or more by horizontal, vertical and or diagonal cuts. A new and non-obvious conductor geometry forms a 3D mesh that is resistant to cutting from any direction in 45 degree increments. Relatively constant illumination levels are maintained in the remaining LEE's by using relatively high resistance series connected current limiting resistors for each LEE. Each current limiting resistor may be, for example, ten times the resistance of the entire lower ribbon conductive layer. Tunable color LEE's are included.

The input scene images are converted into color-space-converted scene images in one of an LMS color space, an ICtCp color space, etc. Scene light levels represented in the color-space-converted scene images are mapped, based at least in part on an optical transfer function, to mapped light levels. A tone mapping is applied to the mapped light levels to generate corresponding display light levels to be represented in display images. The display images may be rendered on a target display.
