  • Publication number: 20220308989
Abstract: A computing device selects new test configurations for testing software. (A) First test configurations are generated using a random seed value. (B) Software under test is executed with the first test configurations to generate a test result for each. (C) Second test configurations are generated from the first test configurations and the test results generated for each. (D) The software under test is executed with the second test configurations to generate the test result for each. (E) When a restart is triggered based on a distance metric value computed between the second test configurations, a next random seed value is selected as the random seed value and (A) through (E) are repeated. (F) When the restart is not triggered, (C) through (F) are repeated until a stop criterion is satisfied. (G) When the stop criterion is satisfied, the test result is output for each test configuration.

Abstract: An endoluminal neurostimulation device includes a plurality of ultrasound transducer elements forming a transducer array. The plurality of transducer elements are provided on or in a substrate layer that is adapted for endoluminal delivery to a deployment site in a lumen of a subject. The transducer elements are operable to focus acoustic energy emitted from the transducer array by controlling one or more of the phase delay and time delay of ultrasound signals emitted from the plurality of transducer elements such that acoustic energy emitted from the transducer array is maximised at a neuronal target near the deployment site to achieve stimulation thereof.

  • Patent number: 11410028
Abstract: A system (10) for convolving and adding frames of data comprises a first sensor-display device (14) and a second sensor display device (26). Each sensor display device (14, 26) comprises an array (80) of transmit-receive modules (82). Each transmit-receive module (82) comprises a light sensor element (86), a light transmitter element (84), and a memory bank (90). A radial modulator device (20) is positioned where transmission of light fields comprising frames of data are Fourier transformed. Filters implemented by modulator elements of the radial modulator device (20) convolve the fields of light comprising the frames of data, which are then sensed on a pixel-by-pixel basis by the light sensor elements (86), which accumulate charges, thus sum pixel values of sequential convolved frames of data.

  • Patent number: 11373771
Abstract: The present invention relates to filters used to remove debris from water being sucked into a piping system. It has particular application use in nuclear power plants, which, after a loss of coolant accident, must pump cooling water back into the reactor core from a collection sump. This water may contain various types of debris that must be removed before the water is sent back into the reactor cooling system. There are restrictions on the allowable pressure drop across the strainer and the space available for installing this equipment. The finned strainer of the present invention addresses these issues while maximizing the quantity of debris filtered from the water.

  • Publication number: 20220121770
Abstract: An efficient search of a target string by a query string in homomorphically encrypted space. The target string may be encoded by reordering its characters into a plurality of target substrings, each encoding non-sequential characters of the target string separated by a periodic stride K and different target substrings having stride sequences offset relative to each other. The query string may be encoded into a plurality of query substrings, each defining a repeating sequence of a different respective character value in the query string. Each of the substrings may be homomorphically encrypted and hashed. The plurality of hashed encrypted target substrings and plurality of hashed encrypted query substrings may be compared to determine if there is a search result match. A rolling hash may iteratively update the plurality of hashed encrypted target substrings by one target string slot and the comparison may be repeated for each iterative update.
