Abstract: The subject invention includes methods and apparatus for joining treads. Such methods include the step of providing a first tread portion and a second tread portion for forming a joined tread, each tread portion comprising a section of tire tread extending lengthwise from a terminal end. Additional steps include providing a first fixture configured to retain the first tread portion and a second fixture configured to retain the second tread portion and securing the first tread portion into the first fixture and securing the second tread portion into the second fixture, each of the first and second fixtures being arranged within the first and second fixtures such that the terminal end of each tread portion is in communication with a joining side of each fixture. The methods further include directing the terminal ends towards each other and into forceful engagement with an elastomeric joining material arranged between the terminal ends.

The product is added to the shopping list by clicking the hyperlink. A plugin adds the product to the shopping list. The hyperlink is established in a popup menu or within the webpage. A deal is negotiated for the product at a retailer. A list of affinity products is displayed. A list of substitutable products is displayed. An affiliate fee is paid to the owner of the webpage.

Abstract: Systems, software, and methods are disclosed herein for implementing a template rendering engine that facilities enhanced event handler attachment when executed by a processing system in the context of a browser application. The template rendering engine examines hypertext markup language (HTML) code downloaded to the browser for templates encoded in the HTML code. When a template is encountered in the HTML code, the template rendering engine examines the template for event handling information indicative of at least an element to render in a web page and an event handler to attach to the element in the web page. The template rendering engine then produces new HTML code for the browser to consume when rendering the web page, the new HTML code comprising the element and the event handler attached to the element.

Abstract: A collaboration service is disclosed that hosts various collaboration sites. Each of the sites includes desktop pages and mobile pages. A routing service redirects mobile requests for the desktop pages to the mobile pages in accordance with a desktop-to-mobile mapping that defines an unbalanced correspondence between the desktop pages and the mobile pages. The routing service also redirects desktop requests for the mobile pages to the desktop pages in accordance with a mobile-to-desktop mapping that defines a balanced correspondence between them desktop pages and the mobile pages.

Abstract: Systems and methods for routing activity information related to objects in an external application to activity feeds associated with users in a collaboration group are disclosed. When activity information is received, it is routed to collaboration group feeds and user feeds based on a set of routing tables. The routing tables associated objects with events, containers, collaboration groups, and finally users. Based on the routing tables, users who belong to a collaboration groups that are associated with a particular object may see the activity information about that object rendered in an activity feed if the external application grants them permission to access the object. Accordingly, security associated with the object in the external application can be maintained when event information about that object is shared in an activity feed in a collaboration system.

Abstract: Systems and apparatus for international funds remittances to non-payment card accounts are described. An embodiment includes a remittance request server having a storage device, an agent bank computer having a settlement account, a payment system gateway, an international payment card system, and a plurality of recipient bank computers. The remittance request server storage device stores instructions that causes the remittance request server to receive an international funds transfer request specifying a transaction amount, a source payment card account of a first country, and a destination bank account (which is not a payment card account) of a recipient bank located in a second country.

Abstract: A method of conducting an electronic financial transaction over a payment network on behalf of a customer is provided using a payment application stored in a mobile device of a facilitator, the method including: receiving transaction details of the electronic financial transaction in the payment application from the customer; generating a transaction request for the electronic financial transaction based on said the transaction details received; and forwarding the transaction request to a payment gateway for processing to carry out the electronic financial transaction over the payment network, the payment gateway having stored therein account details of a payment card linked to the facilitator from which funds are authorized to be deducted or to which funds are authorized to be credited based on the transaction request to pay for or receive funds from the electronic financial transaction on behalf of the customer in exchange for the facilitator receiving cash payment from or providing cash to the customer.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide safety disconnect systems for a power system. In one aspect, a safety disconnect system includes an enclosure operative to receive a plurality of input power lines into the enclosure and provide a plurality of output power lines out of the enclosure. Each input power line is coupled to and paired with a corresponding one of the output power lines, where each input power line and output power line is operative to provide power from a power source. A plurality of switches are provided in the enclosure, each of these switches coupled between an associated one of the pairs of input power line and output power line, and each switch operative to disconnect the associated input power line from the corresponding output power line.

Abstract: A machine may be configured to subscribe a user to a data feed that corresponds to an activity. The machine may generate an optically scannable code that encodes an activity identifier of the activity. The machine may cause a first device to access this optically scannable code, and the first device may present the optically scannable code to a second device. The second device may scan the optically scannable code, and the machine may detect that the optically scannable code has been scanned by the second device. In response to this detection, the machine may subscribe a user of the second device to a data feed that corresponds to the activity. Hence, a first user may present the optically scannable code using one device, and a second user can scan the optically scannable code using another device and be subscribed to the data feed for the activity.

An embodiment includes a processor receiving a funds transfer request specifying a transaction amount, a destination bank account and a source account, and determining that the destination account is not a payment card account. The processor then initiates a payment transaction routed from the source account via a payment card system network to a payment card system settlement account that has been established in an agent bank in the same country as the destination bank account. The processor stores an instruction file of transfer instructions for the agent bank to transfer the transaction amount from the payment card system settlement account to the destination bank account, and later transmits the instruction file to the agent bank.

Abstract: In some example embodiments, a mobile card is determined to have been presented as payment in a point-of-sale (POS) transaction and a mobile phone is determined to be associated with the mobile card. A transaction request is then sent to a mobile phone and a transaction authorization is received from the mobile phone. The POS transaction is then authorized.

Abstract: A request for a funds transfer is received by a sending financial institution (FI) located in a first country from a mobile network operator (MNO) for a recipient located in a second country. The funds transfer request includes the sender's mobile telephone number and transaction data, and the process includes translating the mobile telephone number into a sender's payment card account number, determining that the sender's payment card account can support the transfer amount, and transmitting the transaction data and the sender's payment card account number to a payment system. The sending FI receives a payment confirmation message that satisfies compliance with know your customer (KYC) information and anti-money laundering (AML) information requirements, and transmits a remittance confirmation message to the MNO.
