Abstract: A frozen pizza and tray combination and related methods are disclosed. The combination includes a bakeable single-use disposable tray having a holding surface and a frozen pizza. The holding surface has a substantially flat cooking side and an opposite oven-engaging side. The frozen pizza includes a crust and toppings. The crust has a bottom surface positioned on and against the cooking side of the flat holding surface of the bakeable tray. The frozen pizza also includes a cut arrangement extending through a thickness of the crust and includes a cut line having uncut portions of the crust along the cut line. One method of the disclosure includes slicing the pizza with at least one cut line into individual pieces and leaving uncut portions along the cut line such that no individual piece is disconnected from a remaining portion. The sliced pizza can then be placed into a tray and frozen.

Abstract: A method for forming a fire resistant material is disclosed. The method comprises providing a plurality of expandable beads of a polymeric material. The beads are coated with an exfoliable graphite. The exfoliable graphite is adhe red to the beads with a resin having a solubility parameter of the polymeric material. The beads are thereafter caused or allowed expand and fuse.

Abstract: A radar system is disclosed for forming a scanning receive beam from signals received by a phased array having a plurality of sub arrays. An exemplary radar system includes a plurality of phase units each configured to receive a signal from one or more sub arrays. Each phase unit includes a waveform generator configured to generate an analog waveform having a frequency corresponding to a time-varying phase shift. Each waveform generator is arranged to digitally generate the analog waveform, and output a comparison of the received signal with the waveform, incorporating the time-varying phase shift. The system further includes a combining unit configured to combine the outputs from the plurality of phase units to form a scanning receive beam.

Abstract: A preferred embodiment of the invention provides an interface providing a model-driven projection of various order execution statistics based on the exact strategy (channel, algorithm, and parameters) that is selected by a user. In at least one embodiment, the interface is linked to at least order execution system and comprises an order execution display. In one embodiment, the invention comprises a computer system operable to display a graphical user interface comprising (a) a pre-trade analysis component for displaying market intelligence information regarding one or more specified securities; and (b) a strategy selection component for displaying order execution strategies for selection by a user and that comprises (i) an order execution component for routing a selected order execution strategy to an order execution system; (ii) an interface for enabling a user to specify trading strategies and strategy requirements; and (iii) a display for displaying projected order completion information.

Abstract: Embodiments provide for extending the architecture of a legacy messaging system that otherwise communicates message rules to a client as rows in a rule table. Due to architectural limitations of some messaging systems, rules larger than a specified size are prevented from being streamed between a server and a client. Example embodiments provides for extended rules that represent a combination of conditions, actions or exceptions to be performed on messages and are created by a client as message objects. Because they are created by a client as message objects, rather than rows on a table, the extended rules are allowed to be streamed between the client and server, thus extending the architecture of a legacy messaging system. The client also sets a property value on the message object created, thereby allowing the server to identify the message object as including the extended rule. The system, however, still supports legacy clients.

Abstract: Various systems and methods are described for controlling a NOx sensor coupled to an engine exhaust system in a motor vehicle. One example method comprises generating an offset of the sensor based on an ambient air flow drawn into the exhaust system, the ambient air flow having circumvented cylinders of the engine, and adjusting an output of the sensor based on the generated offset.

Abstract: A tile cutting machine includes a tool support assembly having at least one rail with a rail bearing associated therewith for selective movement there along. The rail bearing includes a housing having a bore therethrough. A plurality of slots are located in the housing adjacent the bore. The slots receive an axle pin having a wheel thereon to provide a roller bearing. Portions of the wheels extend into the bore and ride along an outer surface of the rail when it is received in the bore.

Abstract: An electrical connector, such as a bushing insert, with a fault-closure lockout feature includes a housing with an inner bore having opposite ends. One end has an opening providing access to the inner bore. A piston-contact element is movable between first and second axially spaced positions within the inner bore. During fault conditions, the piston-contact element moves from the first position to the second position to accelerate connection with a male contact of another electrical connector, such as a cable connector, thereby inhibiting the formation of flashover or electrical arc. After fault closure, a lockout member on the piston-contact element prevents moving the piston-contact element from the second position to the first position.

Abstract: A machine is provided for cutting tiles and similar objects of various materials. The tile cutting machine includes a tub having at least one sidewall and a bottom for holding water. A holding mat is received within the tub that includes a number of nubs extending upwardly therefrom for supporting a tile to be cut using the tile cutting machine. A cutting head assembly movable relative to the tub includes a blade and a motor for powering the blade. The blade is positionable to a depth that allows full penetration through the tile and into contact with water received within the tub, thereby providing lubrication, cooling, and dust control while the tile is being cut.

A by-pass line for by-passing the circulation pump connects a point of the loop upstream of the pump with a point downstream of the pump, both points being provided with a three way valve.

The axle assembly is configured to permit a user to replace an endless power-transmitting element without substantially disassembling the axle housing assembly. The starting point may include code from which one or more code paths flow. An ending point is also specified for one or more code paths within the code, wherein the ending point includes code that is reachable via one or more of the code paths flowing from the starting point. Each code path flowing from the starting point to the ending point is determined by analyzing the listing of code without execution of the code. Information about the determined code paths is provided to a user.

Abstract: An electrical connector for connecting to an electrical apparatus within a high power circuit includes an electrical contact and an enclosure. The electrical contact is configured to connect to a bushing of an electrical apparatus within a high power circuit. The electrical contact extends along a first direction from a coupling region. The enclosure extends from the coupling region in a second direction that is nonparallel to the first direction. The enclosure includes two or more electrical devices, with each electrical device being connected to the electrical contact within the coupling region and providing a current path from the electrical apparatus to at least one external coupling device within the high power circuit.

Abstract: Methods, system, computer program products and data structures are described to allow a client to be identified using a plurality of methods during the process of accessing Internet resources through a Proxy or Firewall device. The resultant plurality of methods combines to result in a specific user identification process via multiple data stores. These independent data stores are then quarried to identify a user via a network access process that would not commonly respond to a specific authentication process. A single aggregate data store of user identification information is created to facilitate a more effective search process.

Abstract: A jacket sleeve with grippable tabs provides protection to exposed portions of cable that are connected to an electrical connection. The jacket sleeve can be made as part of the electrical connector or may be connected subsequent to its creation through the use of glues or other adhesives. The jacket sleeve can be made of a material that is more pliable than the electrical connector, making it easier for a lineperson to place the sleeve over an exposed portion of cable. The jacket sleeve can include holes or slots either in the sleeve or in tabs that are attached to the sleeve. A lineperson can place one or more fingers into each hole or slot in order to get a better grip on the sleeve and pull the sleeve over the exposed portion of cable with less slippage and effort on the part of the lineperson.

Abstract: A system for the pre-treatment of biomass for use in a biorefinery to produce ethanol and other bioproducts is disclosed. The system comprises a method comprising the steps of preparing the biomass into prepared biomass; pre-treating the prepared biomass into pre-treated biomass by application of a dilute acid having a concentration of about 0.8 to 1.1 percent by weight at a temperature of about 130 to about 170 degrees Celsius for a period of time in a range of about 8 to 12 minutes. The system also comprises an apparatus for separating the pre-treated biomass into a liquid component comprising pentose and a solids component comprising cellulose and lignin; a fermentation system configured to produce the fermentation product; and a distillation system. The fermentation product comprises ethanol. The biomass comprises lignocellulosic material, comprising corn cobs, corn plant husks, corn plant leaves and corn plant stalks.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the removal of oxygenates from a gaseous stream also comprising carbon dioxide, said process comprising: a) providing a first gaseous stream comprising one or more mono-olefin(s), at least 100 ppm (by weight) of one or more oxygenates and at least 0.1 wt % carbon dioxide, and b) treating the first gaseous stream to produce a second gaseous stream comprising one or more mono-olefin(s) and at least 0.1 wt % carbon dioxide with reduced oxygenate content, wherein said treating comprises contacting the first gaseous stream with a first aqueous stream and with a first liquid hydrocarbon stream, and c) subsequently treating the second gaseous stream to remove the carbon dioxide therein.
