Abstract: Methods involving the use of mathematical models of competitive ligand-receptor binding to characterize mixtures of ligands in terms of compositions and properties of the component ligands have been developed. The associated mathematical equations explicitly relate component ligand physical-chemical properties and mole fractions to measurable properties of the mixture including steady state binding activity, 1/Kd,apparent or equivalently 1/EC50, and kinetic rate constants kon,apparent and koff,apparent allowing; 1) component ligand physical property determination and 2) mixture property predictions. Additionally, mathematical equations accounting for combinatorial considerations associated with ligand assembly are used to compute ligand mole fractions.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating hints for a player with an interactive video gaming environment are provided. A plurality of videos from users is received at a remote server. Each of the plurality of videos includes a hint that corresponds to a different one of a plurality of segments within the interactive video gaming environment. An action relating to game play in the interactive video gaming environment is received at the remote server from player equipment. A determination is made as to whether the action is associated with one of the plurality of segments. In response to determining the action is associated with one of the plurality of segments, one of the plurality of videos that includes the hint that corresponds to the one of the plurality of segments associated with the action is selected. The selected one of the plurality of videos is transmitted to the player equipment.

A customer receiving a web page interacts with an ad unit to purchase the item. During the interactions, the broker dynamically updates the ad unit to conduct the transaction.

A plurality of Gilbert cells provide a plurality of current levels, respectively, based on the plurality of phase interpolation control signals. A plurality of current control elements adjust the plurality of current levels from the plurality of Gilbert cells. The plurality of current levels are adjusted by different amounts for the different phase step sizes.

Abstract: Systems and methods for incorporating online user generated media content (e.g., videos) into an interactive video gaming environment are provided. Media assets that are associated with different measures of quality generated by users are stored on a remote server. A player action is received by the remote server. A determination is made as to which one of the plurality of levels of the interactive video gaming environment corresponds to the action. One of the videos associated with one of the measures of quality is selected based on the determination of the level corresponding to the action. The selected video is transmitted to the player.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for seamlessly transitioning a user from viewing broadcast media to viewing on-demand media. In particular, the systems and methods are designed to identify an on-demand media asset that is related to the broadcast media asset the user is consuming, and transition the user from consuming the broadcast media asset to the on-demand media asset upon the ending of the broadcast media asset. When the broadcast media asset ends, the on-demand media asset may be generated for display instead of whatever media asset is scheduled to be broadcast next by the provider of the broadcast media asset.

In an embodiment, a method stores a publication in a data store accessible by a server system, the publication including a publication location and a distance restriction. The method receives a request for the asset and then determines, by the server system, to provide the asset in response to the request. The determining is based on a requesting location associated with the request, the publication location, and the distance restriction, wherein according to the distance restriction, the asset is only provided to the requesting location if a distance from the requesting location to the publication location satisfies a specified relationship. The method provides the asset in response to the request. In another embodiment, the publication includes references to one or more assets being shared by a publisher. Another method creates an asset-listener association in response to a received asset association request.
