  • Publication number: 20200187566
Abstract: The present invention is a method for vaporizing concentrate that will substantially eliminate general or localized burning of concentrate during the vaporization process and a device adapted for carrying out said method. The vaporization method is based on heating concentrate that has been absorbed into a frit, preferably fitted glass. Fritted glass is characterized by open-pore interstices that allow free passage of fluid through the frit. It is commonly used as a filtering element, particularly in high-temperature applications. It was discovered that concentrate placed in contact with fitted glass is absorbed through capillary action. Although room temperature concentrate may not readily seep fully into fritted glass, as concentrate is heated its viscosity is reduced such that it is readily absorbed by the fitted glass.

  • Patent number: 10415557
Abstract: A pumping system includes a pump array of multiple pump-engine assemblies. Each pump-engine assembly comprises a pump and a gas turbine engine driving the pump. A manifold is coupled to the pumps. A master controller is coupled to each of the pump-engine assemblies either directly or via one or more intermediate controllers. The master controller and any intermediate controllers are collectively programmed to respond to user input including a desired hydraulic output at the manifold by automatically calculating and applying inputs to the individual pump-engine assemblies to provide the desired hydraulic output.

  • Publication number: 20190008207
Abstract: It is the object of the present invention to eliminate the disadvantages of the traditional dabbing method by providing a device and associated method that will reliably allow users to divide and collect a desired small quantity of Extract from a larger or bulk quantity of Extract and to conduct the small quantity of extract toward a Vaporizer heating element with minimal loss or wastage of Extract during the process, while significantly reducing required precision and effort associated Extract handling. The present invention of device and associated method result in a simpler, cleaner, and more efficient dabbing process.

  • Patent number: 8788720
Abstract: A method and apparatus is presented for communicating between a platform and multiple objects, where the objects comprise a set of parameters and an object-specific interface protocol, where at least one of the object-specific interface protocols differs from at least one other object-specific interface protocol. The method includes identifying the objects and creating multiple nonobject-specific data structures, where at least one of the nonobject-specific data structures can engage each parameter of each set of parameters. The method further includes transforming, using the plurality of nonobject-specific data structures created, the object-specific interface protocols into a single nonobject-specific interface protocol for communicating between the platform and the objects.

  • Patent number: 8239586
Abstract: A method and apparatus is presented for using multiple device specific interface protocols for communicating with a platform, where each of the devices comprises a set of parameters. For each parameter of each set of parameters a function call is established to set the parameter for each of the devices that enable the parameter. Using each function call, the plurality of object specific interface protocols is then transformed into a non-device specific interface protocol for communication with the platform.
