Publication number: 20180267699Abstract: A computing device and method for providing a user interface for summarizing and presenting information regarding dynamic provisioning and deployment of media processing resources, in a manner that is easy and intuitive and analogizes well to conventional physical media processing deployment. Users are not required to understand hypervisor configuration or virtual machine deployment, or switch through various layers and screens to find configuration information or controls, a process that may be particularly slow, complex, and difficult to learn, particularly for media and broadcast engineers unfamiliar with virtualization technologies. Instead, the present user interface improves efficiency of use of the computing environment for media processing, by providing deployment information in a format similar to physical processing deployment.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 13, 2018Publication date: September 20, 2018Inventor: Ian David FLETCHER

Publication number: 20180248831Abstract: We receive messages today through multiple channels such as telephone, texts, emails, social media posts etc. and can struggle to prioritize, miss messages, etc. which can impact sales, service, and other customer orientated activities within businesses, service providers etc. Embodiments of the invention exploit a communication model wherein the conventional delay is augmented with filters, recirculating delay lines, decision circuits and loads to exploit an electrical analogy. This model allows different priority messages to be handled and recognizes that messages have different priorities associated with them and that these priorities are dynamic and do not necessarily depend solely upon the sender and recipient but also the context of that communication within an overall activity.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 26, 2018Publication date: August 30, 2018Inventor: DAVID FLETCHER

Publication number: 20160335232Abstract: Invention provides a method and apparatus for remote script execution for secure internet browsing by filtering and partially re-writing a web page for the purpose of enabling the user to get the benefit from the complete code on the page without the risk associated with the potentially dangerous portions of code on that page. The invention executes the complete code set in a rendering computer processor that acts as an intermediary between the user's computer processor and the internet, and passing on, from the rendering computer to the user's computer, only those portions of code that can be safely rendered by the user's browser. This allows the user to see the output of potentially dangerous scripting code without being exposed to the dangers of hosting and executing that scripting code.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 11, 2015Publication date: November 17, 2016Inventors: FRANK H.
