Abstract: Tracking movements of mobile devices may provide insight into parking space availability for transports deemed to be associated with those mobile devices. One example method of operation may include tracking movements of mobile devices within a predefined geographical area, identifying a first movement of a first mobile device as being limited to a predetermined threshold distance, identifying a second movement of the first mobile device as having a movement speed that is greater than a movement speed of the first movement, and designating the mobile device as being inside a transport leaving a parking spot.

Abstract: Sharing data with various user devices may offer an opportunity for various software testing and troubleshooting procedures to optimally process software code and provide testing results to those interested parties. In one example method of operation, a procedure provides receiving a modification to software code stored in a first file, identifying an oversight level of a user profile associated with a user device that performed the modification to the software code, creating a second file including the software code modification and an identifier identifying the modification, creating a number of notifications identifying the second file and the software code modification, and transmitting the notifications to a plurality of user devices having an oversight level that is greater than or equal to the oversight level of the user profile.

Abstract: Navigation applications may utilize various input data to offer route information and other suggested information. One example method may include initiating a navigation application on a first user device, identifying at least one destination of the navigation application, notifying a remote server of the at least one destination, receiving a first query from a second user device inquiring about the at least one destination, and transmitting a response comprising an identification of a first user profile associated with the first user device to the second user device.

Abstract: Co-browsing may offer support and other features to consumers of various websites and other online tools and applications. One example embodiment may include receiving a browsing session notification from a user device, identifying a request message destined for another user device, intercepting the request message, identifying the request message as requesting a multi-user session, forwarding the request message to the another user device, identifying a group to assign to the user device and the another user device based on activity performed by the user device, and assigning the user device and the another user device to the group and creating the multi-user session.

Abstract: Disclosed are examples of performing mobile station modifications. According to one example a method may include transmitting a notification from a mobile station to an advertisement server and receiving at least one advertisement parameter at the mobile station responsive to the transmitted notification. The method may also include performing a modification to a current state of the mobile device based on the at least one advertisement parameter and a distance between the mobile station and at least one establishment registered with the advertisement server.

Abstract: Navigation applications may utilize various input data to determine various navigation routes. One example method of operating may include providing at least one navigation instruction to a navigation device via a navigation application, detecting the at least one instruction via a detection application, obtaining an image of a physical object, performing a holo-acoustic object manipulation of the physical object, and providing a visual display of the holo-acoustic manipulation as an additional navigation instruction.

Abstract: A novel cylinder head arrangement for an in-line four cylinder or eight cylinder engine. A modified arrangement allows additional space for installation of wider rocker arm assemblies used for variable valve lift (VVL), cylinder deactivation (CDA) and other types of variable valve actuation (VVA). In one embodiment, cam towers adjacent the end two cylinders are not used. At least one end support is used, which may be an outboard bearing on a camshaft for each end. The wider rocker assemblies may then be installed. In another embodiment, cam towers adjacent the inner two cylinders are eliminated and a single camshaft support piece with a support bearing is installed between the inner cylinders to provide support for the camshafts. The wider rocker assemblies may then be installed on at least one of the middle cylinders. A novel oil control valve operates latches in switching rocker arm assemblies.

One example method of operation may include identifying a group of participants to receive a broadcast message transmitted from a wireless device, transmitting at least one broadcast message from the wireless device to a plurality of computing devices corresponding to the group of participants, receiving a plurality of response messages responsive to the at least one transmitted broadcast message, examining the plurality of response messages and extracting content of the plurality of response messages, generating a summary message based on the extracted content of the plurality of response messages, the summary message comprising portions from all of the plurality of response messages and also comprising information unique to each of the plurality of response messages, and displaying the summary message on a display interface of the wireless device.

Abstract: A capsule ride system includes a capsule, where the capsule includes a drum, which may include a curved annular wall that may define a chamber. The capsule also includes a platform that may fit within the chamber and that supports a restraint for a passenger. The system further includes a drive system capable of driving rotation of the capsule about a central axis of the capsule and driving forward and/or rearward movement of the capsule along a track.

Abstract: The present application includes various information retrieval and query creation procedures. One example provides retrieving first user data from a memory location, assigning a category to the first user data based on a memory location of the first user data and/or a context of the first user data, applying a weight to the first user data based on at least one of the category assigned to the first user data and the memory location, and also assigning the weighted first user data to a user interest log. The result may provide optimized results in subsequent search operations.

Abstract: Interactions between users on mobile devices can be facilitated by making the users aware when other users have performed similar searches. In one embodiment, when two users executing a mapping application on a mobile device each perform a similar search in a similar geographic area, the server that receives and performs the search request can make each user aware of the other's presence, for example by displaying an icon indicating the other user on the mapping application. The search results may be refined to indicate search results in a geographic area common to the geographic search areas of each user.

Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes a cylinder head, a poppet valve having a seat within the cylinder head, a cam shaft on which is mounted an eccentrically shaped cam, and a rocker arm assembly comprising a rocker arm, a cam follower, and an electromagnetically actuated lash adjuster. The lash adjuster provides a continuously variable length fulcrum for the rocker arm. The actuator may be a piezoelectric stepper motor. The lash adjuster may be operative to vary a rate of internal exhaust gas recirculation and without requiring crank angle data.

Abstract: The present invention provides a module or system and a method that includes: 1) a transparent screen assembly containing an actuator layer lying between two layers of transparent multiple line electrodes, where one electrode layer of forms lines in the x-direction layer and the other electrode layer forms lines in the y-direction; and 2) a controller that is connected to these electrodes. The system and method of the present invention provides: 1) multiple touch sensing on or near a surface of the transparent screen and 2) simultaneous high resolution tactile feedback across the same surface.

One example may include monitoring a predefined area via a sensor, detecting a change via the sensor, comparing the change to a predefined condition stored in memory, determining the change satisfies the predefined condition, and determining a changed parking space status.

Abstract: A process and system are directed to generating a medium without user involvement. A user makes a series of increasingly granular selections to specify the type of medium to be built, such as a webpage. A search engine conducts a search of networking resources to identify and collect content items that have a relationship to the user and that are relevant to the webpage selections made by the user. The content collection is performed automatically without any user involvement, beyond the user's initial webpage selections. The webpage is then constructed, using the collected content items to populate the components of the webpage. The webpage is customized to the user because its contents are developed based upon a search that reflects the targeting and collection of content items that are both related to the user and relevant to the user's webpage definition.
