Publication number: 20240017756Abstract: An improved material transport system comprising a pallet with an integrated conveyor belt and a powered handtruck operative to move and configure the pallet for loading, transport and unloading. A lift bar on the handtruck has a lower position, wherein the handtruck is used to transport the pallet on a ground surface, and an upper position wherein the rear end of the pallet is lifted to unload material from the conveyor belt to the ground surface. The weight of material on the conveyor belt may cause the material to be unloaded due to gravity, or the belt may be electrically powered. Alternatively, the pallet may include a drive wheel that contacts the ground surface. The drive wheel is mechanically coupled to the front roller of the conveyor belt, causing the belt to move and unload the material onto a ground surface when the handtruck and pallet are moved rearwardly.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 13, 2023Publication date: January 18, 2024Applicant: Sysco CorporationInventors: David Huff, Dana Triplett, Christopher Manghan, Jake Burkert, Shawn Stoll, Gene G. Patent number: 11312211Abstract: A sliding sun visor for use in a vehicle is disclosed. The sun visor includes a first and second visor body shell. The visor also comprises a pivot rod and a carrier slidingly arranged over the pivot rod. The first shell of the visor body includes a monorail arranged on an inside surface thereof. The carrier is slidingly engaged with the first shell wherein the carrier is arranged within or on the monorail. The carrier contacts a top portion of the monorail and a bottom portion of the monorail. The carrier is hence slidingly secured to the monorail and only connected to one of the shells used to engage to form a visor body. The visor bodies are secured via a press fit between a first boss arranged on a first shell and a second boss arranged on the second shell thus creating a secure connection that does not need screws to secure the visor halves to one another.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2020Date of Patent: April 26, 2022Assignee: IRVIN AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS, LLCInventors: David Huff, Aaron Levine

Patent number: 11111766Abstract: The complexity of a fracture network may be enhanced during a hydraulic fracturing operation by monitoring operational parameters of the fracturing job and altering stress conditions in the well in response to the monitoring of the operational parameters. The operational parameters monitored may include the injection rate of the pumped fluid, the density of the pumped fluid or the bottomhole pressure of the well after the fluid is pumped. The method provides an increase to the stimulated reservoir volume (SRV).Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2018Date of Patent: September 7, 2021Assignee: Baker Hughes Holdings LLCInventors: Harold Dean Brannon, Thomas Ray Starks, II, Scott Gregory Nelson, Charles Elmer Bell, Tom N. Patent number: 10322438Abstract: A material handling system reduces or eliminates human interaction with articles sorted and deposited into an order container to maintain validation and integrity of the order. Validated articles are inducted onto a sortation conveyor that selectively dispenses or deposits each article at a destination into a container. A shuttle vehicle moves along a first side of row of such containers to replace an empty container in place of any container that holds a completed order and moves the latter onto a transport conveyor.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2017Date of Patent: June 18, 2019Assignee: INTELLIGRATED HEADQUARTERS, LLCInventors: Christopher M. Engel, David Huff, Christopher Clinton Arnold, Justin Leib, Ralf Buerkle

Patent number: 10112774Abstract: A material handling system has an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) with vertically spaced levels storing articles. Each level has at least one pickup and deposit (P/D) station serviced by a shuttle and that is horizontally positioned to define a ramped orientation with a wave conveyor to move products selectively in at least one flow direction to each of the P/D stations. An article transfer mechanism at each P/D station respectively moves an article in a selected at least one direction between the wave conveyor and the respective P/D station. A controller selectively moves the selected articles onto the wave conveyor by respective article transfer mechanisms in coordination with movement of the wave conveyor to create a sequenced flow of selected articles. An order preparation system can receive the sequenced flow.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2016Date of Patent: October 30, 2018Assignee: INTELLIGRATED HEADQUARTERS, LLCInventors: Christopher C. Patent number: 8606765Abstract: Embodiments relate to systems and methods for updating software appliances. A client can host a software appliance, such a Linux™ software appliance, which a user wishes to update to a newer version. Instead of performing an in-place update by installing a new version that deletes the configuration state and/or user data of the existing version of the appliance, an export module takes an image of an initial appliance installation and then registers further changes to the configuration state and/or user data over time. When the user chooses to update the software appliance, the new version can be downloaded to execute an installation. The export module aggregates all changes to the original installation image as well as user data, and delivers the complete current configuration state and/or complete current user data to the new version of the appliance to instantiate the new version.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2007Date of Patent: December 10, 2013Assignee: Red Hat, Inc.Inventors: Joseph Boggs, Norman Lee Faus, David Huff, Bryan Kearney

Patent number: 8285787Abstract: Embodiments relate to systems and methods for managing a collaboration space having application hosting capabilities. A collaboration space, such as a wiki site, can host a set of collaboration tools and resources, including, for example, content tools, communication tools, and other resources for the users of the space. The collaboration space can also incorporate a set of executable application resources, such as application programming tools to permit users to program, invoke, and execute applications directly from the wiki site or other collaboration space. The set of executable application resources can in turn be embedded or incorporated in a Web framework, for instance to permit the set of hosted applications to be served/run to remote clients as Web applications. Applications generated outside the collaboration space can in embodiments be migrated into the collaboration space and hosted and/or executed from within the collaboration space, even if not originally generated there.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2008Date of Patent: October 9, 2012Assignee: Red Hat, Inc.Inventors: James Michael Ferris, David Huff
