  • Publication number: 20150223522
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, apparatuses, and methods for assembling cartridges for aerosol delivery devices. The cartridges may be assembled by transporting carriages between various substations at which parts are added to a base. In another assembly method, the base may be moved between a plurality of robots which direct the base downwardly into contact with components to couple the components therewith. An inspection system may inspect the cartridges at various stages of completion.

  • Patent number: 9024804
Abstract: A sensor assembly that integrates a camera and a radar sensor is described herein. The sensor assembly includes a housing configured to partially enclose the camera and the radar sensor, and define a partial radome that partially intrudes into the radar beam. The partial radome is configured such that after passing through the partial radome a first phase angle of the first portion of the radar beam differs from a second phase angle of the second portion of the radar beam by an amount substantially corresponding to an integer number of three hundred sixty degrees (360°) of phase angle shift. The partial radome provides glare shield to the camera, protection to assembly, and is configured to minimally effect radar performance.

  • Patent number: 8978201
Abstract: An anti-rattle sleeve that includes a retention feature on a split end that extends radially from the body portion and a slot configured to allow the retention feature to be pressed through an opening. The sleeve also includes a flange portion opposite the split end that includes an inner bump configured to contact a surface of an object bracket and an outer bump configured to contact a surface of a mounting bracket. The inner bump and the outer bump are located relative to the slot such that the sleeve is deformed by the brackets in a manner effective to reduce relative motion between the object bracket and the mounting bracket when compressed between the brackets.

  • Publication number: 20140332637
Abstract: A support apparatus configured to support free lengths of parallel components in residential implementations comprising a rectangular section and connection flaps. The rectangular section defines support holes and includes a rectangular section width that matches a width of two standard adjacent studs in a residential implementation. The support holes are configured to support and to separate free lengths of multiple, substantially parallel components. A first connection flap extends from a first end of the rectangular section. A second connection flap extends from a second end of the rectangular section. The rectangular section includes a first length between the first connection flap and the second connection flap configured to match a first standard distance between the two adjacent studs. The support apparatus includes a second length inclusive of the first connection flap and the second connection flap configured to match a second standard distance between two adjacent studs.

  • Patent number: 8769870
Abstract: A system for watering plants including a pot having a plant therein, a line carrying a hook, a watering activation switch connected to a watering system, and a pot weighing system comprising a movable arm assembly interacting with a weight switch. The pot does not move the movable arm assembly when the plant needs to be watered, whereby the movable arm assembly interacts with the weight switch to allow watering of the plant and the hook engages the plant watering activation switch to thereby activate the watering system to provide water to the plant. The pot moves the movable arm assembly when the plant does not need to be watered, whereby the movable arm assembly interacts with the weight switch to prevent activation of the watering system to prevent water from being provided to the plant.

  • Patent number: 8753510
Abstract: A fluid pressure vessel has a chamber with an inlet and outlet with a nested primary and secondary filter bag disposed such that the primary bag communicates exclusively with the inlet, and flow through the primary bag flows through the secondary bag before the outlet. The primary bag is disposed in a first rigid porous basket and the bag rim seals against a flange on the first basket. The secondary filter bag surrounds the first basket and the rim of the secondary bag is sealed around the flange of first basket. A second rigid porous basket surrounds the secondary filter bag and is sealed on the rim of the secondary filter bag and is sealed against the inner periphery of the pressure chamber by an O-ring.
