Publication number: 20260126029Abstract: A community wind turbine cellular system (CWTC system) is disclosed. The CWTC system is configured to provide community-based cellular communication, on a temporary or permanent basis. One or more turbine blades of the CWTC system are configured with an omni-directional radio frequency (RF) antenna suitable for receiving and transmitting mobile communication data to cellular devices. These omni-directional RF antenna have an uninterrupted wired connection that passes from the antenna to an antenna radio within the system's nacelle. More particularly, each RF antenna in a turbine blade is connected, via a wired connection, to a corresponding slip ring within the nacelle of the cellular wind turbine. Each slip ring is connected to the antenna radio via a wired connection. In this manner, each RF antenna maintains a wired connection to the antenna radio, even as the turbine blades are rotating.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 5, 2025Publication date: May 7, 2026Inventor: David Jones

Publication number: 20260058010Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to an in vitro method for the diagnostic classification of cancer based on the biological state of specific genomic sites. The disclosure provides a method that allows for a classification of a tumour sample obtained from a patient by analysing a multitude, preferably genome wide, collection of gene sites, combining the biological state of the analysed gene sites into a biological state pattern and comparing with pre-determined biological state patterns pertaining to different cancer types or tumour species. The disclosure is in particular useful for classifying cancer e.g. of the central nervous system, such as brain tumour samples and tumours of the spinal cord, since these are characterized by a large variety of distinct tumour species which have different prognostic values and require a developed treatment regime for each species in the clinical context. However, other cancers could similarly profit from the disclosure, for example sarcomas.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 12, 2022Publication date: February 26, 2026Applicants: DEUTSCHES KREBSFORSCHUNGSZENTRUM STIFTUNG DES OEFFENTLICHEN RECHTS, UNIVERSITAET HEIDELBERGInventors: Martin SILL, Stefan PFISTER, David JONES, Andreas VON DEIMLING, David CAPPER, Volker HOVESTADT, Felix SAHM, Daniel SCHRIMPF

Patent number: 12550190Abstract: This disclosure is directed to allocation of one or more radio bands to a user equipment (UE) for establishing a radio link with a radio node (e.g., eNodeB or gNodeB). The radio bands may include a shared band, such as citizens band radio service (CBRS), a primary licensed band, such as the B66 band, and/or an unlicensed band, such as B46 band. A radio communications system may consider a variety of parameters associated with the distance of a UE from a radio node, signal strength of a signal from the UE, the services requested by the UE, and/or spectral availability of the each of the radio bands to determine which radio band(s) to allocate to the UE. In some cases, the radio band allocated to a UE may be dynamically changed by the radio communications system as conditions related to the UE and/or the mobile network change.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 2024Date of Patent: February 10, 2026Assignee: T-Mobile USA, Inc.Inventors: David Jones, Ahmad Armand
