  • Patent number: 7192088
Abstract: A stowable seat assembly is provided for use with a vehicle having a floor and a recess formed therein. The assembly includes a seat and a pivot tube adapted to be secured to the vehicle floor, with the seat being operatively pivotal about the pivot tube between a first, collapsed position and a second, stowed position with the seat being at least partially stowed within the vehicle recess. The seat passes through a third, upright position intermediate the first and second positions as the seat is pivoted between the first and second positions. The assembly further includes a torsion rod mounted on the pivot tube and free to twist, with the torsion rod being operatively coupled to the seat during pivoting of the seat toward and away from the third, upright position.

  • Patent number: 7178740
Abstract: A system and method for injecting a low-pressure spray of solution into a high-pressure spray of liquid produced by a pressure washing system. The system comprises a liquid storage tank for the solution that is operable to be pressurized. The system comprises a wand that is coupled to the liquid storage tank and securable to a high-pressure wand. The system may comprise a high-pressure pump that is operable to produce a high-pressure flow of fluid to the high-pressure wand. The pressure stored in the liquid storage tank provides the force to drive the solution to the discharge of the high-pressure wand.

  • Patent number: 7152900
Abstract: A seat assembly for use with a vehicle having a vehicle body includes a seat bottom that is configured to be pivotably mounted to the vehicle body, a seat back pivotally connected to the seat bottom, a seat back latch associated with the seat back for inhibiting movement of the seat back with respect to the seat bottom, and an automatic stow arrangement for moving the seat bottom and seat back from a use position to a stowed position. The stow arrangement is associated with the seat back latch and is configured to release the seat back latch to allow the seat back to pivot in a first direction toward the seat bottom. The stow arrangement is further configured to pivot the seat bottom and seat back in a second direction opposite the first direction to the stowed position.

  • Patent number: 6809102
Abstract: The present invention provides compounds of formula I and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The formula I compounds induce mitotic arrest thereby making them useful as anti-cancer agents. The formula I compounds are also useful for the treatment of other diseases which can be treated by inducing mitotic arrest.

  • Patent number: 6297234
Abstract: The present invention provides compounds of the general formula: wherein Y is a moiety selected independently, from NH or —(CH2)n— wherein n is 1; m is an integer from 1 to 2; and the moiety represents: (1) a 5-membered aromatic (unsaturated) heterocyclic ring having one nitrogen (wherein A is nitrogen, and B and C are CH), (2) a 6-membered aromatic (unsaturated) heterocyclic ring having one nitrogen (wherein A is carbon, B is nitrogen, and C is —CH—CH—), (3) a 6-membered aromatic (unsaturated) ring (wherein A is carbon, B is CH, and C is —CH—CH—); as well as methods and pharmaceutical compositions utilizing these compounds for the treatment of disorder which may be remedied or alleviated by vasopressin agonist activity, including diabetes insipidus, nocturnal enuresis, nocturia, urinary incontinence, bleeding and coagulation disorders, or temporary delay of urination.

  • Patent number: 4326059
Abstract: An improved process for the production of dialkoxy phosphoric acid esters of substituted hydroxypyrimidines which involves reacting a dialkyl phosphoric acid halide with a substituted hydroxypyrimidine reaction in a two-step reaction is disclosed. In reaction step (a) the hydroxypyrimidine derivative is converted with the aid of sodium hydroxide and in the presence of a hydrocarbon solvent and a phase-transfer catalyst to the sodium salt while drying the reaction mixture by azeotropically removing water. In step (b) the condensation process is carried out at room temperature to about 100.degree. C. The condensation step may be accelerated by addition of 4-bis(C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl)aminopyridine as catalyst.
