  • Patent number: 12151202
Abstract: A carbon dioxide capture facility is disclosed comprising packing formed as a slab, and at least one liquid source. The slab has opposed dominant faces, the opposed dominant faces being at least partially wind penetrable to allow wind to flow through the packing. The at least one liquid source is oriented to direct carbon dioxide absorbent liquid into the packing to flow through the slab. The slab is disposed in a wind flow that has a non-zero incident angle with one of the opposed dominant faces. A method of carbon dioxide capture is also disclosed. Carbon dioxide absorbing liquid is applied into packing in a series of pulses. A gas containing carbon dioxide is flowed through the packing to at least partially absorb the carbon dioxide from the gas into the carbon dioxide absorbing liquid.

  • Publication number: 20240179195
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments facilitating a holistic engagement with a user across multiple communication channels of an organization or an enterprise based at least in part on a determined user intent. As users interact with various services associated with the organization through one or more communication channels, interaction data can be captured and stored. In various examples, the interaction data that is stored by the various services can be obtained and organized according to a predefined schema. The organized interaction data can be applied to a trained intent model that outputs a user intent based at least in part on observations of other users with similar histories. The predicted intent can be provided to the different services such that subsequent interactions between the user and the organization can be based at least in part on the intent in a consistent manner, regardless of the communication channel associated with the interaction.

  • Publication number: 20240076974
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are provided for a turbine driven pump gearbox. A turbine engine may drive a primary shaft having gears. The gears may selectably engage with gears of a secondary shaft that drives a machine (e.g., pump). By changing which gears of the primary shaft engage with which gears of the secondary shaft, a gear ratio may be changed. A power takeoff device (e.g., a generator) may be connected to the primary shaft and may be operated in reverse as a motor to rotate, slow, stop, and/or reverse rotation of the primary shaft. Brakes may be associated with one or more of the primary and secondary shafts. The power takeoff device and one or more of the brakes may be controlled to shift engagement of the shafts between different positions, changing the gear ratio and/or disengaging the shafts from each other.
