    Abstract: A method of fabricating a semiconductor device includes forming a channel member suspended above a substrate, depositing a dielectric material layer wrapping around the channel member, performing an oxidation treatment to a surface portion of the dielectric material layer, selectively etching the surface portion of the dielectric material layer to expose sidewalls of the channel member, performing a nitridation treatment to remaining portions of the dielectric material layer and the exposed sidewalls of the channel member, thereby forming a nitride passivation layer partially wrapping around the channel member. The method also includes repeating the steps of performing the oxidation treatment and selectively etching until top and bottom surfaces of the channel member are exposed, removing the nitride passivation layer from the channel member, and forming a gate structure wrapping around the channel member.

For example, pulse generator feedback logic is executed by a processor to interface with control instructions of an implantable pulse generator by incorporating one or more machine learning engines to automatically generate a proposed set of stimulation parameter values that each affect a stimulation aspect of the implantable pulse generator, receive one or more clinical responses and automatically generate a revised set of values taking into account the received clinical responses, and repeating the automated receiving of a clinical response and adjusting the stimulation parameter values taking the clinical response into account, until or unless a stop condition is reach or the a therapeutic response is indicated within a designated tolerance.

    Abstract: In various examples, systems and methods are disclosed that preserve rich spatial information from an input resolution of a machine learning model to regress on lines in an input image. The machine learning model may be trained to predict, in deployment, distances for each pixel of the input image at an input resolution to a line pixel determined to correspond to a line in the input image. The machine learning model may further be trained to predict angles and label classes of the line. An embedding algorithm may be used to train the machine learning model to predict clusters of line pixels that each correspond to a respective line in the input image. In deployment, the predictions of the machine learning model may be used as an aid for understanding the surrounding environment—e.g., for updating a world model—in a variety of autonomous machine applications.

    Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein enable a system to configure a confidential virtual resource unit by provisioning a security component to a tenant's virtual resource unit. The system creates multiple different virtual trust layers within the confidential virtual resource unit. This creation effectively defines security boundaries between the virtual trust layers. The virtual trust layers are associated with different privileges, such that a higher privileged virtual trust layer is provided with more privileges compared to a lower privileged virtual trust layer. In one example, a lower privileged virtual trust layer may include basic virtual resource components (e.g., drivers, applications, processes, functions, workloads executing within a guest operating system) and a higher privileged virtual trust layer is the location to which a virtual security component is provisioned by the system.

    Abstract: A foveated down sampling and correction (FDS-C) circuit for combined down sampling and correction of chromatic aberrations in images. The FDS-C circuit performs down sampling and interpolation of pixel values of a first subset of pixels of a color in a raw image using down sampling scale factors and first interpolation coefficients to generate first corrected pixel values for pixels of the color in a first corrected version of the raw image. The FDS-C circuit further performs interpolation of pixel values of a second subset of the pixels in the first corrected version using second interpolation coefficients to generate second corrected pixel values for pixels of the color in a second corrected version of the raw image. Pixels in the first subset are arranged in a first direction, pixels in the second subset are arranged in a second direction, and the down sampling scale factors vary along the first direction.
