  • Publication number: 20240250858
Abstract: Pilot symbols and data symbols of a communication frame for an OTFS transmission system are two-dimensionally arranged along the points of a grid in the delay-Doppler domain. The pilot symbols are surrounded by guard symbols. The number of guard symbols in each direction of the Doppler domain is twice the number of the basis expansion modelling (BEM) basis functions used for modelling the communication channel in a receiver, and twice the maximum time delay in terms of delay bins in each direction of the delay domain. The receiver performs an initial pilot-aided channel estimation using BEM of a first BEM order and using the pilot signals, followed by an initial estimation of data symbols using the initial channel estimation, and iteratively performs data aided channel estimation using BEM of a second BEM order and at least the received data signals, until a termination criterion is met.

  • Publication number: 20240249422
Abstract: A method includes determining, based on an image having an initial viewpoint, a depth image, and determining a foreground visibility map including visibility values that are inversely proportional to a depth gradient of the depth image. The method also includes determining, based on the depth image, a background disocclusion mask indicating a likelihood that pixel of the image will be disoccluded by a viewpoint adjustment. The method additionally includes generating, based on the image, the depth image, and the background disocclusion mask, an inpainted image and an inpainted depth image. The method further includes generating, based on the depth image and the inpainted depth image, respectively, a first three-dimensional (3D) representation of the image and a second 3D representation of the inpainted image, and generating a modified image having an adjusted viewpoint by combining the first and second 3D representation based on the foreground visibility map.

  • Patent number: 12045054
Abstract: The present disclosure provides autonomous vehicle systems and methods that include or otherwise leverage a motion planning system that generates constraints as part of determining a motion plan for an autonomous vehicle (AV). In particular, a scenario generator within a motion planning system can generate constraints based on where objects of interest are predicted to be relative to an autonomous vehicle. A constraint solver can identify navigation decisions for each of the constraints that provide a consistent solution across all constraints. The solution provided by the constraint solver can be in the form of a trajectory path determined relative to constraint areas for all objects of interest. The trajectory path represents a set of navigation decisions such that a navigation decision relative to one constraint doesn't sacrifice an ability to satisfy a different navigation decision relative to one or more other constraints.

  • Patent number: 12039535
Abstract: The disclosed exemplary embodiments include computer-implemented systems, apparatuses, and processes that, among other things, generate and provision digital tokens based on dynamically obtained contextual data. For example, an apparatus may receive first information that characterizes an exchange of data initiated by a first application program executed by the apparatus, and may generate and transmit a signal to a computing system through a programmatic interface associated with a second application program executed by the apparatus. In some instances, the first signal may include the first information and data that instructs the computing system to obtain a digital token representative of a data type available for use in the data exchange. The apparatus may also receive a second signal that includes the digital token and based on the digital token, perform operations that present second information characterizing the available data type on an interface.

  • Patent number: 12041028
Abstract: A system and method for optimizing processing of keyboard/video/mouse (KVM) data in an internet protocol (IP) network environment receives via public interface access requests from users directed to KVM targets. The system includes a public and private virtual local area network (VLAN) linked by a bonded interface and general-purpose and optimized application containers. The general-purpose container initiates a KVM session and creates a network address translation (NAT) route (associated with an IP address visible to the user) and a dedicated interface via which the user may send KVM data directly and through the optimized application container, which prioritizes KVM data so it can pass without preemption through the private VLAN and to its intended KVM target in real-time or near real-time. The NAT route and external IP address may be reused for multiple access sessions to different KVM targets from the same user.
