Abstract: A screen apparatus includes a perimeter frame with a notch and arcuate foot in one of the bottom corners that are adapted to receive a raised floor device, such as a raised power outlet. A covering covers the frame but the notch is not covered. The covering is preferably a light-passing translucent sheet of performance fabric which is adapted to pass light sufficient for a viewer to see a person behind the screen, but which scatters and blocks sufficient light to provide privacy by hiding details of the person's work from the viewer. The screen apparatus also includes bowed frame members extending horizontally between some of the outer frame members.

Abstract: A menu level indicator facilitates ease of use of a telephone terminal by a user by providing easily understandable information about selectable menu options available in an interactive display on the telephone terminal. The menu level indicator provides a visual indication for permitting the user to directly determine the number of menu options available while at one of multiple selectable menu levels in the menu. The menu level indicator also provides a visual indication for the user as to the relative position of a displayed, selectable menu option with respect to other selectable menu options commonly located at one of the multiple selectable menu levels. As a user maneuvers through the menu levels, such user is able to quickly develop a mental model of the feature menus and easily navigate through these menu selections.

Abstract: A user of a telephone terminal with an interactive display is provided complete access to all feature choices in a hierarchical menu through a minimum number of menu keys. These menu keys include a "Next" key, a "Back" key, a "Select" key and a "Home" key. These menu keys occupy minimal space on the housing of the telephone terminal, yet enable the user of the terminal to easily scroll to and select every feature in the interactive display. The user is able to quickly develop a mental model of the feature choices and easily navigate through these menu selections. Context-sensitive functionality also is provided for using the interactive display. As a user completes a command function, the feature choice presented to the user for this function is the one most likely to be accessed by the user, thus advantageously avoiding the necessity of having a dedicated key for allowing the user to select this feature choice.

Abstract: A system for releasably and laterally mounting or removing a plurality of booklets including in a preferred embodiment: 1) unitary spines for removably retaining the booklets therein each having at least one upstanding tab on an outer surface thereof and, 2) a binder for releasably mounting the unitary spines therein, the binder having a plurality of longitudinally extending channels that are spaced apart and parallel to one another and have a ridge for engaging the upstanding tabs on the unitary spines during mounting and removal of the unitary spines in the binder.

Abstract: A stereoscopic viewer comprises a housing having an advancing plate for supporting and advancing a disc-shaped carrying card for stereo images which are viewed through a pair of eyepieces in the housing. A trigger oscillates the plate to incrementally rotate the card and position sequential pairs of images in the viewing axis of the eyepieces. The trigger includes a depressible actuator vertically projecting through a top surface of the viewer, as it is held for viewing. The trigger comprises a cylindrical actuator portion projecting through the top surface of the housing, and a leg depending from the actuator portion which engages the advancing plate to oscillate it as the trigger is depressed. As the plate oscillates in a forward direction, a flat front face of a pawl on the plate engages a radial slot on the disc to rotate it. The pawl is slightly inclined in the direction of advance of the card to help hold the card flat against the plate during incremental advancement.
