FIG. 1 is a front, left side perspective view of a tape drive system or the like showing our new design, this embodiment having eight drives;

FIG. 2 is a front, left side perspective view of a second embodiment of our new design for a tape drive system or the like, this embodiment having two drives;

FIG. 3 is a perspective view thereof similar to FIG. 2 but showing the pods on the top surface rotated to alternate positions;

FIG. 4 is a rear elevational view thereof, it being understood that the rear view of the eight drive embodiment would differ only by the number of drive modules;

FIG. 5 is a left side elevational view common to both embodiments;

FIG. 6 is a right side elevational view common to both embodiments;

FIG. 7 is a front elevational view of the second embodiment;

FIG. 8 is a top plan view thereof;

FIG. 9 is a greatly enlarged front elevational view of one of the pods on the top surface of both embodiments, the system being fragmentarily shown for convenience of illustration.
