  • Patent number: 11209186
Abstract: A laminar flow diffuser with integrated lighting has a frame for supporting an air plenum and a lower housing. The air plenum receives conditioned air from a source of conditioned. The lower housing is attached to the bottom of the plenum. An aperture plate damper installed below the top plenum regulates the flow of air from the plenum through the laminar flow diffuser. A clear or translucent engineered, fire rated polymer perforated diffuser face forms the outlet from the lower housing to the room below. LED strips are positioned around the inside periphery of the lower housing. A light guide is installed adjacent the LED lighting strips to spread the light across the area of the perforated diffuser face.

  • Publication number: 20210369947
Abstract: A delivery device for intravenous delivery of microparticles to a patient. The delivery device is fluidly connectable to (i) a first source of an injection medium and (ii) a second source of an injection medium. The delivery device includes: a first fluid inlet fluidly connectable to the first source of the injection medium, a fluid outlet, a fluid mixer fluidly connecting the first fluid inlet to the fluid outlet, a second fluid inlet fluidly connectable to the second source of the injection medium, and a source of microparticles fluidly connecting the second fluid inlet to the fluid mixer. When fluid flows from the second source of the injection medium into the delivery device: the second injection medium fluidly drives microparticles from the source of microparticles into the fluid mixer, and the fluid outlet dispenses to the patient an injection medium that includes the microparticles.

  • Patent number: 11188353
Abstract: Techniques disclosed herein permit bundled web applications to be extended at runtime. In particular, the functionality of a container application that is a bundled web application may be extended by extensions that are also bundled web applications. To enable such extensibility, the container application registers reusable portion(s) of its code in a global context during a bootstrapping sequence of the container application. Thereafter, extensions that are loaded may access and utilize the registered portion(s) of code, as if those extensions had been bundled together with the rest of the container application. In addition, extensions may be managed using scoping and/or permissions that control access to the extensions based on the container application mode that the extensions can be used with and white lists of users who are allowed to use the extensions, respectively.

  • Patent number: 11156979
Abstract: A novel and useful acknowledgement and adaptive frequency hopping mechanism for use in wireless communication systems such as IO-Link Wireless. One or two additional acknowledgement bits are added to packet transmissions. One is a current acknowledgment bit which indicates whether a packet was successfully received anytime during the current cycle. The second bit is a previous acknowledgment bit which indicates whether packets were received successfully anytime during the previous cycle. An adaptive hopping table is constructed using a greedy algorithm which chooses frequencies with the best PER for transmission of higher priority packets, while equalizing the PER products across cycles. A last resort frequency mechanism further improves transmission success by switching to a better performing channel for the last subcycle when previous attempts to transmit a high priority packet have failed.

  • Patent number: 11149728
Abstract: A system for installing replacement plungers in plunger pumps used in the hydrocarbon industry includes an elongated, cylindrical plunger body with an elongated circular tube disposed around the cylindrical plunger body. An end wall having an aperture encloses one end of the tube with an axially movable plate adjacent the end wall between the end wall and an end of the plunger body. A removable cap is mounted to the opposite end of the tube to enclose the plunger body within the tube. The outer diameter of the tube fits in the plunger bore of a pump. To install the replacement plunger, the cap is removed and the tube is inserted into the plunger bore until the tube abuts packing within the tube. Once positioned, an axial force is applied to the movable plate to urge the plunger body from the tube and into engagement with the packing.

  • Publication number: 20210263121
Abstract: Systems and methods for magnetic field-dependent relaxometry using magnetic resonance imaging (“MRI”) are provided. Relaxation parameters, including longitudinal relaxation time (“T1”) and transverse relaxation time (“T2”), are estimated from magnetic resonance signal data acquired at multiple different magnetic field strengths using the same MRI system. By measuring these relaxation parameters as a function of magnetic field strength, T1 dispersion data, T2 dispersion data, or both, are generated. Based on this dispersion data, quantitative physiological parameters can be estimated. As one example, iron content can be estimated from T2 dispersion data.
