  • Patent number: 12315245
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for determining altitude obstacles. The method includes, for a given geographical area, obtaining (50) digital aerial images of portions of terrain of said geographical area from at least one digital aerial image source, forming a set of digital aerial images covering said geographical area. The method includes applying (54) a first image processing to the digital images of said set of images so as to obtain a first set of obstacles present in said geographical area and an associated first height estimate, then applying (56) a second image processing to the images of said set of digital images so as to obtain a second set of obstacles present in said geographical zone and a second associated height estimate, greater than or equal to said predetermined minimum height.

  • Publication number: 20220417576
Abstract: A method of assigning advertisements to slots in video channels of a bundle of channels provided to an end user. The method includes managing credits, for each specific channel of the channels, indicative of a difference between a number of advertisements provided by an owner of the specific channel that were displayed on other channels and a number of advertisements provided by owners of other channels displayed on the specific channel In addition, scores indicative of a predicted success of the advertisement with the end user are calculated for a plurality of advertisements. An advertisement to be displayed to the end user is selected responsive to a function of both the calculated scores and the managed credits.

  • Publication number: 20190026684
Abstract: The present invention relates in general to a system and method for purchasing food from a restaurant to be prepared and sent as soon as possible to an undisclosed, designated location. The purchasing of the food occurs over the internet. This invention, more particularly, allows for the third-party purchasing of food delivery to another person without having to know that person's delivery address. More specifically, the system and method is designed to purchase food delivery for a person that is live-streaming on the internet, such as via Twitch.tv, Justin.tv, or YouTube. In one embodiment, the recipient cannot have food delivery purchased for them if they are not live-streaming, so as to prevent a delivery being sent when they are not available to receive it. In a second embodiment, the recipient may not need to be live-streaming to receive a delivery. Such a delivery may be called a “Treat” when using the present system and method.

  • Patent number: 9830411
Abstract: A method for locating external surface impacts on a body. The steps are: modeling the body in a control unit first database to obtain a virtual body model in a virtual system of reference axes; modeling, in a second database, a plurality of clouds of points in the virtual system, each cloud defining an inspection zone representing an external surface portion; selecting an inspection zone; transferring the coordinates of each point of the first and second databases to a geographic system of reference axes; determining geographic coordinates of an initial position of a range finder equipped flying drone communicating with the processing unit; calculating a drone flight plan to scan the selected inspection zone; creating a 3D meshing of the scanned inspection zone; detecting the impacts by comparing the 3D meshing and the virtual aircraft model and calculating the coordinates of each impact in the geographic and virtual systems.

  • Publication number: 20150275907
Abstract: A cylindrical air circulator has a telescoping base handle section that is spaced from the cylindrical wall and extends between handle supports. Optional wings on the handle supports serve as a cord wrap. A connector secured to a downstream end of an expandable tube enables a user to secure that end to a structural member. An optional plate/tube combination provides a plurality of tubes that can be directed in different directions. An optional pivotable connector can be used to suspend the tubular wall off the ground. Locks enable a user to secure the connector in a multitude of positions, enabling the cylinder to be locked in a variety of rotational positions about multiple axes when the air circulator is suspended off the ground.
