  • Patent number: 11100604
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for scheduling jobs for multiple frame-based applications are disclosed. A computing system executes a plurality of frame-based applications for generating pixels for display. The applications convey signals to a scheduler to notify the scheduler of various events within a given frame being rendered. The scheduler adjusts the priorities of applications based on the signals received from the applications. The scheduler attempts to adjust priorities of applications and schedule jobs from these applications so as to minimize the perceived latency of each application. When an application has enqueued the last job for the current frame, the scheduler raises the priority of the application to high. This results in the scheduler attempting to schedule all remaining jobs for the application back-to-back. Once all jobs of the application have been completed, the priority of the application is reduced, permitting jobs of other applications to be executed.

  • Patent number: 11091935
Abstract: A locking piece assembly adapted for installation in a cylindrical lock and meant to engage a locking mechanism comprises a locking piece and a lock button. The locking piece has one end adapted to engage the locking mechanism and an opposite end with a connecting hook. The lock button has an aperture adapted for attachment to the locking piece connecting hook, and can be depressed to move the locking piece inward to engage the locking mechanism after the locking piece assembly is installed in the cylindrical lock. The lock button can be installed onto the locking piece by hand, specifically by inserting the connecting hook into the aperture on the lock button, pivoting the lock button with respect to the locking piece, and placing the locking piece and lock button into alignment. After installation, the connecting hook is held in place to prevent separation from the lock button aperture.

  • Patent number: 11056118
Abstract: A method of speaker identification comprises receiving a speech signal and dividing the speech signal into segments. Following each segment, a plurality of features are extracted from a most recently received segment, and scoring information is derived from the extracted features of the most recently received segment. The scoring information derived from the extracted features of the most recently received segment is combined with previously stored scoring information derived from the extracted features of any previously received segment. The new combined scoring information is stored, and an identification score is calculated using the combined scoring information.

  • Publication number: 20210125618
Abstract: A biometric system is tested to see whether a proposed use matches a configuration of the system. An enrolment input is received from an enrolling user, and compared with a system configuration model to obtain a configuration matching score value. The enrolment is then controlled based on a result of comparing the received enrolment input with the system configuration model. In the case of a voice biometric system, when a test input is received from a speaker, it is determined whether audio conditions applying to the test input correspond to system configuration conditions. Verification is performed by comparing the test input with a model of the speech of an enrolled user to generate a verification score for use in deciding whether to accept or reject the speaker, depending on whether it is determined that audio conditions applying to the test input correspond to the system configuration conditions.

  • Publication number: 20210104303
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating clinical structured reports, allowing users to indicate findings from a medical examination without having to enter normal findings. In one aspect, a user selects a clinical structured report template for a particular type of medical examination. A default clinical structured report based on the template, and comprising normal findings for the medical examination type, is presented to the user. The user modifies one or more of the normal findings to indicate abnormal findings. A clinical structured report is generated, based on the default normal findings and the abnormal findings received from the user. The report is stored in a database or sent to one or more recipients over a network. In one aspect, the normal findings comprise text data. In another aspect, the normal findings comprise plots, graphs, diagrams, or other types of data. In one aspect, the system provides for multi-language support and translations.

  • Publication number: 20210070396
Abstract: Bicycle rear derailleur device (1) comprising a chain guide assembly (15) made up of two parts: a guiding cage (28) and a tension cage (32). It also comprises a movable member (18) coupled to a base member (10) via a linking member (13) to align the chain guide assembly (15) with the different sprockets. Said tension cage (32) carries a tension pulley (11), is pivotably coupled to the movable member (18) and is biased by a main spring or biasing member (17). The guiding cage (28) carrying a guiding pulley (14), and the tension cage (32) are both configured to move either jointly or independently of each other, such the distance between both pulleys (14, 11) is fixed or free respectively, varying as a consequence the chain tension. To do so, the guiding cage (28) is pivotally coupled to the tension cage (32) comprising between them coupling means (16) that selectively and reversibly make both cages united or not.

  • Patent number: 10877727
Abstract: A received signal represents a user's speech. A first speaker recognition process is performed on a first portion of the received signal, to obtain a first output result. A second speaker recognition process is performed on a second portion of the received signal that is different from the first portion of the received signal, to obtain a second output result. The second speaker recognition process is different from the first speaker recognition process. The first and second output results are combined to obtain a combined output result indicating a likelihood that the user is a registered user.
