The control unit communicates an instruction by the bus to the second microprocessor to interrupt a signal transmission to the first microprocessor so that the first microprocessor transmits a status message to the control unit.

Abstract: The invention relates to compounds of formula (I): or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, including all stereoisomers, tautomers and isotopic derivatives thereof, which are inhibitors of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase enzymes (referred to herein as p38 MAP kinase inhibitors), particularly the alpha and gamma kinase sub-types thereof, and their use in therapy, including in pharmaceutical combinations, especially in the treatment of inflammatory diseases, including inflammatory diseases of the lung, such as COPD.

Abstract: An elevator system has at least two elevator cars, each of which has at least one elevator car door and each of which is provided for independent displacement in a common shaft, and a plurality of shaft doors and a safety device having at least one door opening sensor, at least one evaluation unit and at least one data line between the door opening sensor and the evaluation unit. The evaluation unit evaluates at least one signal of the door opening sensor in at least one evaluation step to prevent unauthorized opening of the shaft door.

Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein are used to deliver a package or product to an alternate delivery location (ADL) for pick up by a customer or authorized retriever. The customer can register to receive delivery of a package or product with an ADL solution provider before delivery of the product, or may do so when purchasing the product. Alternatively, a product or package can be shipped from sender to an ADL for pick up by a person, outside of the context of purchasing a product. The methods and systems also offer the capability to track transported packages or products.

The mechanism includes an open-topped housing provided on a rotary adjuster and having an upper surface which defines a height adjustment reference datum level. An insert is movable up and down within the open-topped housing in which the upper surface of the insert can be adjusted to be substantially flush or coplanar with the upper surface of the open-topped housing so as to set a datum level of the treatment module. Means are provided for determining the extent of angular adjustment of the rotary adjuster so as to set any required height adjustment of the treatment module.

The improvement includes the step of treating the recycle stream to reduce the concentration of a trialkyl amine, trialkyl phosphine, or both, if present, from the recycle stream prior to reacting it with phosgene to form the ester-substituted diaryl carbonate.

Abstract: A disposable glove dispensing apparatus includes an apparatus support and a disposable glove roll holder supported by the apparatus support. A disposable glove roll is retained on the disposable glove roll holder. The disposable glove roll includes a plurality of individual disposable gloves retained on a continuous glove carrier strip assembly. An electric motor is supported by the apparatus support for unrolling the glove carrier strip assembly and for positioning disposable gloves in a glove access region. A motor-actuator button is electrically connected to the electric motor for actuating the electric motor. With one embodiment of the invention, the disposable gloves can be in the form of five-fingered gloves. With another embodiment of the invention, the disposable gloves can be in the form of mitts.

Abstract: A chassis for a grass treatment machine on which an elongate grass treatment module having opposed outer ends may be mounted, and in which the chassis is intended to be mounted in, or form part of, the frame of a grass treatment machine. The chassis has two module mountings which are laterally spaced form each other with respect to the direction of travel of the machine, and each mounting being adapted to receive a respective outer end of the module. The chassis has two chassis portions which can be assembled in order to hold the outer ends of the module in the module mountings in order to mount the module on the chassis, and which can be relatively separated in order to provide access to the module mountings for the purposes of mounting or demounting the ends of the module relative to the chassis.

Abstract: Siloxane bischloroformates are prepared in a continuous process by phosgenating siloxane bisphenols in a flow reactor using a substantial excess of phosgene and sodium hydroxide. While very high levels (>95%) of conversion of the siloxane bisphenol to the corresponding siloxane bischloroformate are achieved using a flow reactor according to the method of the invention, only more modest conversion (˜90%) of the siloxane bisphenol to the corresponding siloxane bischloroformate is attained when analogous batch processes are employed. The process holds promise for use in the manufacture of silicone-containing copolycarbonates which requires high purity siloxane bischloroformate intermediates.

Abstract: A grass treatment apparatus is adapted to be coupled with a propellant vehicle in order to be movable over the ground and which mounts a plurality of grass treatment units which are engageable with the ground in order to carry out required grass treatment operations. The apparatus includes a main frame having mountings for coupling to the propelling vehicle and a grass treatment unit mounted on the main frame. A side frame is adjustably mounted on the main frame and has a grass treatment unit mounted thereon. The main frame has a mounting recess for receiving the side frame. A power operated device couples the side frame to the main frame and adjusts the side frame between an outwardly deployed position in which it is laterally spaced from the main frame and an inwardly deployed position in which the side frame is received by the mounting recess.

Abstract: A system and method for dialing a telephone number in the form of an area code, prefix, and suffix, where the user enters only the prefix and suffix is disclosed. The system and method correlate the entered prefix, and in some embodiments, one or more digits of the entered suffix to determine the appropriate area code. The system then returns the entire telephone number including the area code, prefix and suffix, which is then automatically dialed. In another embodiment, the system returns a menu of possible area codes for user selection. The system and method are preferably employed in a community area network, but are also applicable in any multiple area code geographic region.
