  • Patent number: 12136221
Abstract: Systems for image evaluation and dynamic cropping are provided. In some examples, a system, may receive an instrument or image of an instrument. Identifying information may be extracted from the instrument or image of the instrument. Based on the extracted identifying information, a check/check image profile may be retrieved. In some examples, expected size and/or shape data may be extracted from the check/check image profile. The extracted expected size and/or shape data may be compared to size and/or shape data from the received instrument or image of the instrument to identify any anomalies (e.g., to determine whether the expected size and/or shape data matches the size and/or shape data of the received instrument or image of the instrument. If the expected size and/or shape data does not match size and/or shape data from the received instrument or image of the instrument, the instrument or image of the instrument may be programmatically modified and a modified image of the instrument may be generated.

Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for an ultrasound-mediated therapy system. In one example, a method includes for one or more therapeutic ultrasound beams of a plurality of therapeutic ultrasound beams delivered to a therapy region of interest (ROI) of a patient via an ultrasound probe, identifying a respective location of the one or more therapeutic ultrasound beams relative to the therapy ROI of the patient based on one or more images of the therapy ROI acquired via the ultrasound probe; calculating a cumulative therapeutic ultrasound dose received at each sub-region of the therapy ROI based on the respective location of the one or more therapeutic ultrasound beams; and displaying a representation of the cumulative therapeutic ultrasound dose received at each sub-region of the therapy ROI on a display device.

  • Publication number: 20240305952
Abstract: The present document relates to methods and apparatus for rendering input audio for playback in a playback environment. The input audio includes at least one audio object and associated metadata, and the associated metadata indicates at least a location of the audio object. A method for rendering input audio including divergence metadata for playback in a playback environment comprises creating two additional audio objects associated with the audio object such that respective locations of the two additional audio objects are evenly spaced from the location of the audio object, on opposite sides of the location of the audio object when seen from an intended listener's position in the playback environment, determining respective weight factors for application to the audio object and the two additional audio objects, and rendering the audio object and the two additional audio objects to one or more speaker feeds in accordance with the determined weight factors.

  • Patent number: 12036350
Abstract: A removable manifold for a medical/surgical waste collection system. The manifold is dimensioned to be mounted to a receiver integral with the system. The manifold includes at least one tube through which waste is drawn into a manifold cage. The tube extends through an inlet port into a void space internal to the manifold cage at an angle. The tube exits the manifold cage and centered along an axis that is off center to the longitudinal axis of the manifold cage where it engages a complementary valve internal to the receiver. The valve regulates flow between the receiver and the down line components of the waste collection system. The valve is normally closed. When the manifold is fitted to the receiver the tube engages the valve and rotation of the manifold moves the valve to the open position allowing fluid flow from the manifold and receiver to the downstream components of the system.

  • Publication number: 20240031365
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for identifying an application (e.g., accessing application) that is attempting to access a resource. In some examples, access may be managed by an authentication service. When an access request is received at the authentication service from an application on a client device, the authentication service may ask the application to communicate with an identification agent on the client device. The identification agent may perform one or more tests to discover the identity of the application. In some cases, the identification agent may send the identity of the application to the authentication service. The authentication service may then allow or deny access by the accessing application to the resource based at least in part on the discovered identity.

  • Patent number: 11754436
Abstract: A high-frequency dynamic pressure transducer calibration system and method is provided. The method directs a source onto a diaphragm of a dynamic pressure transducer. An oscillating voltage at a target frequency (or range of frequencies) is generated. The oscillating voltage is coupled to an electrical connector of the dynamic pressure transducer. A deflection pattern of the diaphragm is recorded. The dynamic pressure transducer is calibrated by correlating magnitude of the deflection pattern with the oscillating voltage as a function of the target frequency (or range of frequencies).

  • Patent number: 11591874
Abstract: A packer for anchoring and sealing to a tubular in a well, the packer including a packer element, an anchoring arrangement, a setting mechanism and a release mechanism. The release mechanism holds a thin-walled section of tubing in the packer in tension using a biasing mechanism. On severing the tubing, the bias releases an engagement mechanism which allows the anchor arrangement and the packing element to move relative to the body and thereby unset the packer. An embodiment of a dual bore packer is described. A method of well isolation is described, with an assembly including the dual bore packer. The primary bore forms the short string and a secondary bore forms the long string. By severing the short string the integrity of the long string is maintained to pull lower devices on the long string and the short string does not require tension below the packer to release.
