  • Patent number: 10055242
Abstract: Systems and methods for virtualizing audio decoding hardware of a guest audio decoder are disclosed. A method may include storing received encoded audio in main memory of a host computing device. An operation to access a register or memory of the audio decoding hardware of the guest audio decoder may be intercepted. The register or memory has an associated address in the main memory of the host computing device. The intercepted operation can include a register WRITE operation, and can be translated into an operation associated with accessing dedicated decoder memory of a host audio decoder of the host computing device.

  • Patent number: 9920811
Abstract: An isolating assembly, a modular isolating system including the assembly and a method of using the same. The system includes a plurality of individual isolating assemblies, each isolating assembly being engageable with an article; and wherein each isolating assembly includes a lower isolator that rests upon a flat surface; an upper isolator that is engageable with the article; and a connector having first and second ends. The first end of the connector engages the lower isolator and the second end of the connector engages the upper isolator. The upper isolator is positioned above the lower isolator and is movable relative to the lower isolator when vibration from the article is transferred to the upper isolator. The connector may be a polarizing connector that restricts the movement of the upper isolator in a first direction but permits movement thereof in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction.

  • Patent number: 9863703
Abstract: A grain drying tower comprises a heater and blower separating a heating plenum and a cooling plenum. The dryer is provided with a heat reclamation/heat recycling system and/or counter-flow cooling to reduce the energy requirements of the tower dryer. The heat reclamation system comprises a chamber external to the outer wall of the tower and which is and located at a point along the drying path. The bottom of the chamber is open to the atmosphere. Hot exhaust air enters the heat reclamation chamber at the top of the chamber and is drawn back into the tower by the blower as the exhaust air exits the open bottom of the chamber. In the counter-flow, the walls defining the grain path of the in the cooling section are not air permeable, and air is drawn into the cooling section through outer wall ducts which are closed at the inner wall. The entering air travels up through heated grain to be warmed, and then enters the plenum through inner wall ducts, which are closed at the outer wall of the tower.

  • Patent number: 9704313
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for interacting with access control devices. In overview, a human user physically identifies an access control device with which he/she wishes to interact, for example in the context of providing commissioning and/or configuration data. The user then makes a physical local interaction with the device, for example by way of a smartcard having predefined characteristics. This causes the access control device to enable a wireless communications protocol, thereby to allow the user to discover the device using a portable device which implements a complementary wireless communications protocol. Commissioning information is then provided by way of the portable device to the access control device in a wireless manner. Once this is complete, the access control device disables the wireless communications protocol.

  • Patent number: 9513936
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of and system for dynamically loading an executable composite software application, for use on a user device. An enterprise universe including multiple application modules is maintained, with each application module being configured to perform a particular functionality within the software application. This universe is filtered in terms of a particular environment definition to result in an environment subset of application modules, wherein the environment definition defines criteria according to which application modules exist in the environment. In response to receiving a container launch request from a user device, one or more application modules from the environment subset is launched as the executable composite software application on the user device through a container module associated with the user device.
