Abstract: Social websites, such as dating websites, are provided with advanced features. For example, a dynamic telephone number generator is provided that may be associated to a destination telephone number. Someone calling that dynamic telephone number may be routed to the destination number. The dynamic number may be generated as a result of receiving user input to a dating website. Additionally, a dynamic number may call a user's web browser directly such that users can utilize traditional telephone lines to talk over the internet to a website.

Abstract: A location-based game system is provided. Such a system may take the form of any device (e.g., a wireless telephone) that includes a locating device (e.g., a GPS system). One such location-based game may operate such that the actual, physical location of a user on a physical playfield corresponds to the location of a virtual character on a virtual playfield. Such location based games are referred to herein as actuality games. In one multiplayer actuality embodiment, two game devices may communicate location, and other, information to a remote database such that the two user's may interact on different physical playfields, but play on the same virtual playfield. A number of wireless communications protocols, self-configurations, and auto-download software applications are also provided to optimize integration with, for example, a wireless telephone.

Abstract: A method for more efficiently utilizing storage space in a redundant array of independent disks (RAID) is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method implements a RAID from multiple storage drives. The RAID utilizes data striping with distributed parity values to provide desired data protection/redundancy. The distributed parity values are placed on selected storage drives of the RAID in accordance with a designated parity rotation. The method further adaptively alters the parity rotation of the RAID to provide an increased concentration of parity values in certain storage drives of the RAID compared to other storage drives of the RAID. This parity rotation may be adapted based on residual storage capacity in each storage drive, consumed space in each storage drive, or the like. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

Abstract: A debris barrier for protecting a hydrocarbon reservoir in a downhole well environment includes a filter securely positioned within a production tubing section of the downhole well environment. The production tubing section is couple-able with an isolation valve downstream of the isolation valve. The production tubing section includes a first set of members securely positioned along a first circumferential surface of the production tubing section and a second set of members securely positioned along a second circumferential surface of the production tubing section, wherein the first set and the second set of members extend radially. The members can be angled in a downstream direction. The first set of members and the second set of members can be offset axially from each other. The production tubing section can comprise at least one flow hole positioned near the bristles and a debris collection chamber. The filter can be dissolvable, displaceable, and removable.

Abstract: A two-part curable (adhesive) composition comprising a Part A and a Part B: Part A comprising: (i) a curable (meth)acrylate component; (ii) a peroxide; and (iii) a phenolic lipid; and Part B comprising: (i) a curable (meth)acrylate component; and (ii) a transition metal component. These compositions are tack free, demonstrate good cure through volume and desirable bond strengths on both active and passive substrates. The two-part curable (adhesive) composition can cure across relatively large bond gaps and are non-volatile.

Abstract: The present invention provides a remote notification to a user of a cellular, or mobile, phone as the result of a particular activity or any activity at all (e.g., an incoming call from a particular person, group, or just an incoming call). In one embodiment, a sensing device is provided on the cellular phone that communicates/routes an alert to a remote notification device. In one economical embodiment, the notification device may have a short wire-based communication channel (e.g., roughly 1 foot to 5 feet) and only have a single output device (e.g., a light-emitting device). Thus, a woman may be able to quietly receive notifications of a cell phone event when her cell phone is stored in her purse.
