    Abstract: A mechanism and method for maintaining a consistent state in a non-volatile random access memory system without constraining normal computer operation is provided, thereby enabling a computer system to recover from faults, power loss, or other computer system failure without a loss of data or processing continuity. In a typical computer system, checkpointing data is either very slow, very inefficient or would not survive a power failure. In embodiments of the present invention, a non-volatile random access memory system is used to capture checkpointed data, and can later be used to rollback the computer system to a previous checkpoint. This structure and protocol can efficiently and quickly enable a computer system to recover from faults, power loss, or other computer system failure.

A very useful range of separation distances between microneedles is in the range of 100-300 microns, and more preferably in the range of 100-200 microns. The outer diameter and microneedle length is also very important, and in combination with the separation distance will be crucial as to whether or not the microneedles will actually penetrate the stratum corneum of skin. For circular microneedles, a useful outer diameter range is from 20-100 microns, and more preferably in the range of 20-50 microns.

A measuring tape affixed to the bench in both directions from the Mitre Saw allows a piece of lumber to be placed on the bench, up to the desired measurement and cut without the need to produce a tape measure or pencil. The ‘Slider and Flag’ that are run along a rail above the measuring tape on the bench are designed to expedite accurately repeated lumber cuts. The ‘Flag’ pivots on a bolt on the slider to rise when not needed and lowered when it is. The ‘Slider’ that the flag is attached to is moveable along the rail to get to the position needed for repeat cuts. The result is a simply designed fast cutting Saw bench.
