  • Publication number: 20070212856
Abstract: Provided are methods to be carried out prior to, while, and/or after performing a photolithographic process to a wafer that involve wafer misalignment assessment. The method involves obtaining curvature and/or deformation information of a surface of the wafer over a plurality of locations so as to obtain a curvature map of the wafer. The curvature map is processed to obtain a stress map of the wafer. The stress map is used to determine displacement of a layer of the wafer. The displacement information is used to determine a degree of misalignment in the photolithographic process.

  • Publication number: 20070022155
Abstract: One or more server-based constructs are projected into one or more corresponding desktop objects. Thereafter one or more events involving the desktop objects are processed according to behaviors defined during the projection using action handlers cached at a desktop client. The action handlers provide a mechanism for instituting the server-defined behaviors at the desktop, including the playing of locally cached web forms that provide a user with options for interacting with the desktop objects according to those behaviors. Any or all interactions with the desktop objects may be subsequently communicated to the server, which can accept or reject any changes and resynchronize an updated view of the object(s) to the desktop client.

  • Publication number: 20060283807
Abstract: A method of processing oily sludge to remove a substantial proportion of the water and hydrocarbon content there-from to form a solid cake of waste material that is suitable for disposal in landfill sites. The method involving, firstly promoting flocculation in a batch of waste material by mixing in a flocculating agent. The flocculated waste material is then pressed at a first pressure to extract substantially all the free water within the mixture. After the first pressing the waste material is subjected to a second pressing at a second pressure to extract a substantial proportion of hydrocarbon material and further water from the mixture, thus leaving a solid cake of waste material. The invention also considers additional processing steps to maximize the level of hydro-carbon material reclaimed from the waste material.

  • Patent number: 7058849
Abstract: A mechanism and method for maintaining a consistent state in a non-volatile random access memory system without constraining normal computer operation is provided, thereby enabling a computer system to recover from faults, power loss, or other computer system failure without a loss of data or processing continuity. In a typical computer system, checkpointing data is either very slow, very inefficient or would not survive a power failure. In embodiments of the present invention, a non-volatile random access memory system is used to capture checkpointed data, and can later be used to rollback the computer system to a previous checkpoint. This structure and protocol can efficiently and quickly enable a computer system to recover from faults, power loss, or other computer system failure.

  • Publication number: 20050283665
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and signal-bearing medium that in an embodiment determine, after a restore of a version of an object, where to begin applying changes from a change log to the object based on an identification in the saved version of the object. When a save command for an object is received, an identification of the change log entry associated with the save command is stored in the saved version of the object. Changes to the object then continue to be logged to the change log. After the saved version of the object is restored, the identification in the saved version of the object is used to find the change log entry at which to start applying changes from the change log to the object. In this way, the point in the change log at which to start applying changes to the object may be determined based on the saved version of the object. In an embodiment, this allows the object to continue to be accessed while the save operation is performed.
