  • Publication number: 20240296948
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for processing analyte data. In some example implementations, a method may include generating glucose sensor data indicative of a host's glucose concentration using a glucose sensor; calculating a glycemic variability index (GVI) value based on the glucose sensor data; and providing output to a user responsive to the calculated glycemic variability index value. The GVI may be a ratio of a length of a line representative of the sensor data and an ideal length of the line. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240287583
Abstract: Aptamer detection techniques with dynamic range compression are described that permit removal of a portion of more abundant aptamers in an aptamer-based assay. In an embodiment, a mixture of tagged probes and dummy probes can be used such that the dummy probes bind abundant aptamers and in turn are not captured or amplified for detection in downstream steps. Other techniques are also contemplated, including targeted removal of or cleavage of probes that bind to excess aptamers.

  • Publication number: 20240256320
Abstract: A method for processing a function command for a peripheral device, the method that includes obtaining, by a device controller intermediary, a function command from a virtual machine, where the function command is associated with a peripheral device, performing a lookup, in a function policy database to identify an emulated function policy associated with the function command, making a determination that the function command does not violate the emulated function policy, and in response to the determination, forwarding the function command to the peripheral device.

  • Publication number: 20240256319
Abstract: A method for processing a function command, the method that includes obtaining, by a device controller intermediary, a function command from a virtual machine, where the function command is associated with a peripheral device, making a first determination that the function command is associated with a remote peripheral device, forwarding the function command to the remote peripheral device, and in response to forwarding the function command, receiving processed data from the remote peripheral device, and providing the processed data to the virtual machine.

  • Patent number: 12048533
Abstract: Techniques for data analysis and user guidance are provided. One or more current measurements of one or more current analyte levels for the user are received from a sensor. A pattern is generated based on the one or more current measurements and the one or more past measurements. A first alignment with a first user target is then determined based on the pattern, where the first user target relates to one or more of a mental state or physical state of the user. A first result is output to the user, based on the determined first alignment.

  • Publication number: 20240242557
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to cash handling devices that provide intelligent monitoring and management of cash cycles. A cash handling device having at least one processor, a communication interface, and memory may receive, from a mobile device, a request to process a pre-staged transaction. Subsequently, the cash handling device may generate and present a graphical identifier based on the mobile device requesting access to the cash handling device. Next, the cash handling device may verify that the mobile device is authorized to perform the pre-staged transaction based on the graphical identifier being scanned by the mobile device and cause a connection to be established between the cash handling device and the mobile device. Thereafter, the cash handling device may identify and process the pre-staged transaction associated with the mobile device. Then, the cash handling device may generate a notification indicating completed processing of the identified pre-staged transaction.

  • Patent number: 11995609
Abstract: In one embodiment, a processing device receives a first digital fingerprint of a media item along with a first content management rule. The processing device separately receives a second digital fingerprint of the media item along with a second content management rule. The processing device determines that the received digital fingerprints are for the same media item based upon a match between the first digital fingerprint and the second digital fingerprint. The processing device determines that all rights to the media item have been accounted for, and then determines a set of actions to be performed for hosted media items comprising the media item based at least in part upon the first content management rule and the second content management rule. Processing logic may also perform a conflict resolution process for conflicting rights claims to the media item.
