In use a request is received via a network from one of a plurality of entities which each has an interest in at least one corresponding digital asset. Moreover, an eligibility of the entity is automatically verified. An interface for the entity is thus conditionally provided for facilitating transactions involving the at least one digital asset, based on the verification.

In use, an e-commerce interface is generated for facilitating transactions involving at least one digital asset. In addition, an entity is provided with code capable of being inserted into a web page selected by the entity. During use, such code displays the e-commerce interface on the web page in which it is inserted.

Abstract: A system and method automatically creates message forwarding rules. The method can include receiving a message having at least one recipient and, for each of the at least one recipient, determining whether a rule exists including the recipient; if a blocking rule exists for the recipient, deleting the blocking rule and creating an active forwarding rule for the recipient; and, if no rule exists for the recipient, creating an active forwarding rule for the recipient.

Abstract: A roll mount dispenser is adapted to be mounted to a standard roll product fixture, and hold a roll of sheet material, such as a roll of bath tissue radially thereabout. In addition, the roll mount dispenser is configured to hold sheets therein and dispense sheets therefrom. The roll mount dispenser includes a housing configured to extend between a pair of support arms of a roll product fixture. The housing has a compartment configured to hold sheet material. The housing is configured to be disposed through a core positioned through a center of a roll of sheet material. The housing also includes opposite ends, each of which has a protruding member which is configured to fit into a recess in a support arm of a roll product fixture. At least one end of the housing has a dispensing module. The dispensing module is configured to permit sheet material to pass from the housing through the dispensing module and out an exit port.

Abstract: A fixing device is disclosed which is primarily for use in orthopaedics. In one disclosed embodiment the fixing device includes an elongate body having a throughbore, wherein the elongate body has a number of spiral slots in the surface thereof. In use, the fixing device is inserted into an aperture in a bone and a screw is tightened within the throughbore of the elongate body, causing the body to expand and the slots to be closed in order to secure the fixing device in place within the aperture in the bone. An applicator device is also disclosed which in use holds the fixing device in place when a screw is tightened therein.

Abstract: A model rocket motor retainer apparatus for model rockets comprised of two components, a cylindrical retainer body (1) and an aft closure ring (2); wherein the retainer body is attached to a rocket motor tube (3), and the aft closure ring attaches into the aft end of the retainer body (3). Installation and tightening of the aft closure ring traps the rocket motor (4) between the aft closure ring and the rocket motor tube, thereby positively retaining the motor.

Abstract: The system and method herein involve use of a proxy to translate between compressed and uncompressed documents. The proxy uncompresses compressed documents from a client and forwards the uncompressed version to a specified server. The response from the server goes to the proxy which compresses the document from the server before communicating it to the client. The server can dynamically generate code space for the uncompressed server response to the client, if needed, and supply it to the proxy.

Abstract: The system and method herein involve obscuring or encrypting a user identification (ID) for use in a plain text, unencrypted authentication scheme, such as Digest, Basic, or NTLM authentication. An exemplary embodiment of the system and method involves the creation of an obscured username that can be communicated over a unsecure communication channel, such as, a wireless communication channel, without disclosing identification information to third parties. One way in which the obscured username is created is by encrypting a plain text username. Both the obscured username and plain text username are stored at the client such that the obscured username is communicated over unsecure channels when the user enters the plain text username. Thus, the obscuring process is transparent to the user.

Abstract: A diode-pumped laser system (10) incorporates a polarization state control device (12) that provides a trim profile (84) having minimal striations (64) on a target material (42). The striations run generally parallel to the polarization direction of laser output light beam (L) and are diminished whenever the polarization direction is parallel to the laser trimming direction. The striations are substantially eliminated by circularly or randomly polarizing the laser output light beam.
