  • Patent number: 11498164
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for remotely switching screw color or screw type feeding into a door assembly machine with an auto-hinge applicator. An apparatus having a turntable is supported on bearings and a framework. Each side of the turntable includes a screw hopper accessible via a rotary index. The screw hoppers receive a user input to make a screw selection. Upon receiving a selection, one of the hoppers indexes into position, allowing the correct screw to feed to the hinge applicator. Screw feed-hoses from screwdrivers on the hinge applicator are arranged to connect to a manifold below the screw hoppers. Screws drop from the hoppers into a manifold, at which point the screws are blown with compressed air through the feed-hoses to the screwdrivers on the hinge applicator. Screws can be reloaded into the screw hoppers when rotated in alignment with the hinge side of the door assembly machine.

  • Patent number: 11495906
Abstract: A connector assembly comprises a connector and a mating connector. The mating connector comprises a mating housing. The mating housing is formed with a release projection. The connector comprises a first housing and a second housing. The first housing is provided with a stopper. The second housing is provided with a stopped portion. One of the first housing and the second housing is provided with a second support portion which supports a supported portion. When the second housing is installed to the first housing, the stopped portion is brought into abutment with the stopper, and a movement of the second housing is regulated by the stopper. When the thus-regulated second housing is received into the mating housing together with the first housing, one of the second support portion and the supported portion is brought into abutment with the release projection so that the regulation of the second housing is released.

  • Publication number: 20220292376
Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods for compressing a neural network, wherein members of a vehicle fleet locally execute the neural network and during at least one inference phase each determine a selection of elements of the neural network that should be pruned, wherein the members of the fleet transmit the respective determined selection to a central server, wherein the central server merges the respective transmitted selections and generates a merged selection, and wherein the central server prunes the neural network on the basis of the merged selection.

  • Publication number: 20220171766
Abstract: Asynchronous fallback save operations herein (also referred to herein as a background save) provide a means for saving very large transactions from a client device within a stateless architecture. When dealing with large transactions, it may take a long time to process records—so long that the connection between the server and the client may time out, causing the user to lose all work or progress that was being saved. Thus, the present technology serves to prevent this “time out” problem while simultaneously allowing users to continue working on something else while a save is still completing. In some implementations, once a user has submitted a save request, the save operation may be carried out in a background thread pool, allowing the user to continue move on to a new task.
