  • Patent number: 11038903
Abstract: Various systems, mediums, and methods may involve a data engine with various components. For example, a system with the data engine may include a segmentation component, an asset preparation component, a clustering component, a variable generation component, and classification component. As such, the system may determine a number of assets associated with a number of activities of one or more accounts. Further, the system may determine various links associated with the number of assets. As such, the system may detect an attack and/or an attack trend associated with the one or more accounts based on the various links associated with the number assets. Further, the system may generate a notification that indicates the attack and/or the attack trend detected.

  • Publication number: 20210133258
Abstract: Placing an event into a particular cluster can allow various inferences about the event. A new payment transaction that looks similar to a previously identified cluster of mostly fraudulent payment transactions, for example, may be higher risk. The present disclosure includes structural data improvements to the way that online clustering of events (which may include web events and not just payment transactions) occurs. A new event can be classified into a particular segment very quickly using feature table searching, which can allow for better decision making when a short timeframe is required (e.g. transaction processing, online advertising, etc.).

  • Patent number: 10981527
Abstract: An impact motion tracking system for tracking an object in a three-dimensional space includes a motion tracking sensor that includes a housing, a magnetic measurement module, an inertial measurement module, and a transmitter module, which generates magnetic fields. The magnetic measurement module measures magnetic fields generated by the transmitter module and has a fixed orientation with the object. The inertial measurement module measures a linear acceleration or an angular acceleration and has a fixed positional relationship with the object. An electronic processor receives measured signals from the motion tracking sensor and derives an impact motion information for the object based on received measured signals from the inertial measurement module. The electronic processor derives a magnetic motion information for the object based on received measured signals from the magnetic measurement module and periodically calibrates impact motion information with magnetic motion information.

  • Patent number: 10905782
Abstract: Compositions and methods for enhancing delivery of molecules, e.g. biological agents, into cells are described. The composition is a conjugate of the biological agent, preferably a nucleic acid analog having a substantially uncharged backbone, covalently linked to a peptide transporter moiety as described. Conjugation of the peptide transporter to a substantially uncharged nucleic acid analog, such as a morpholino oligomer, is also shown to enhance binding of the oligomer to its target sequence and enhance antisense activity.

  • Publication number: 20210019385
Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for secure authentication of users using one or more biometric recognition systems are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving an indication that a biometric identifier is to be used to authenticate a user to a service; receiving (i) the biometric identifier of the user from a capture device and (ii) knowledge-based secondary information associated with the user from an input device; determining a Voronoi cell identifier that corresponds to the biometric identifier; calculating a hash of the Voronoi cell identifier and the knowledge-based secondary information; transmitting the hash to a server device for verification; in response to transmitting the hash to the server device, receiving a response indicating whether the hash matches a previously stored hash that was stored in the server device; and determining whether to automatically authenticate the user to the service based on the response from the server device.

  • Patent number: 10659491
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for dynamic detection of geo-location spoofing by a networked device, such as fraudulent client connections to a server, in which the connection is made using an internet protocol (IP) tunneling as may be provided by a virtual private network (VPN) connection. A user of a client device may employ spoofing of IP-geo location mechanisms and IP classification for various reasons, such as gaining access to services that are not allowed in certain locations (e.g., certain movie and television content providers); browsing server data while maintaining a higher level of anonymity; and performing fraudulent actions on the server. Detecting a false geographic location (e.g. as indicated by IP address) is helpful for improving computer system security, and for evaluating whether access to particular digital resources should be provided.

  • Patent number: 10650361
Abstract: A computer-implemented system for analyzing copyright right ownership of a media content containing one or more copyrighted works, comprising the steps of: receiving, by a controller having a CPU, a media content from a first user via a wide area network, the media content comprising a mix of copyrighted works; parsing the media content into a format recognizable by a fingerprinting analytical algorithm; determining by the controller using the fingerprinting analytical algorithm copyright ownership information in the received media content; monitoring by the controller a playing of a select length of the media content from the content storage device by a second user; and reporting to a system operated by a copyright licensing entity by the controller the copyright ownership information associated with the select length of the media content played by the second user.

  • Patent number: 10586235
Abstract: Rapidly handling large data sets can be a challenge, particularly in situations where there are millions or even hundreds of millions of database records. Sometimes, however, a service level agreement necessitates that a service return a response to a query in a small amount of time. Database organization techniques can be used that reduce potentially large datasets to smaller groups (neighbors) based on uncommon but shared attributes, in various instances. Using a limited set of related records, queries can be answered using a focused approximation based on characteristics of various identified clusters of records in the set of related records. A particular record may also be associated with an existing cluster of records based on that record's similarities to records in the cluster.

  • Publication number: 20200021588
Abstract: Secure methods, systems, and media for generating and verifying user credentials are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving, from a user device, a request for access to a service that requires valid user credentials; determining an aspect of the user credentials that is to be satisfied to grant access to the requested service; transmitting, to the user device, a request for information related to the aspect of the user credential; receiving, from the user device, information related to the aspect of the user credential, wherein the information has been signed using a key associated with the user device; verifying the key used to sign the information by the user device; in response to verifying the key used to sign the information, determining whether the aspect of the user credential has been satisfied based on the received information; and, in response to determining that the aspect of the user credential has been satisfied, granting access to the service.

  • Patent number: 10515424
Abstract: Methods and systems for generating queries from a behavioral index model are described. According to various embodiments, a system receives a query input including one or more search terms from a client device associated with a member profile. The system generates a query from the one or more search terms and one or more profile terms. The system causes one or more query machines to search one or more inverted indices using the query and receives one or more result of documents distributed across the inverted indices. The system generates an ordered list of the one or more result sets and causes presentation of the ordered list at a client device associated with the member profile.
