Abstract: An analyzer system for in vitro diagnostics includes a sample handler module having a robot arm that delivers samples from drawers into carriers on a linear synchronous motor automation track. Samples are delivered via the automation track to individual track sections associated with individual analyzer modules. Analyzer modules aspirate sample portions directly from the sample carriers and perform analysis thereon.

Abstract: Various systems, mediums, and methods may involve a data engine with various components. For example, a system with the data engine may include a segmentation component, an asset preparation component, a clustering component, a variable generation component, and classification component. As such, the system may determine a number of assets associated with a number of activities of one or more accounts. Further, the system may determine various links associated with the number of assets. As such, the system may detect an attack and/or an attack trend associated with the one or more accounts based on the various links associated with the number assets. Further, the system may generate a notification that indicates the attack and/or the attack trend detected.

Conjugation of the peptide transporter to a substantially uncharged nucleic acid analog, such as a morpholino oligomer, is also shown to enhance binding of the oligomer to its target sequence and enhance antisense activity.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for dynamic detection of geo-location spoofing by a networked device, such as fraudulent client connections to a server, in which the connection is made using an internet protocol (IP) tunneling as may be provided by a virtual private network (VPN) connection. A user of a client device may employ spoofing of IP-geo location mechanisms and IP classification for various reasons, such as gaining access to services that are not allowed in certain locations (e.g., certain movie and television content providers); browsing server data while maintaining a higher level of anonymity; and performing fraudulent actions on the server. Detecting a false geographic location (e.g. as indicated by IP address) is helpful for improving computer system security, and for evaluating whether access to particular digital resources should be provided.

Abstract: Placing an event into a particular cluster can allow various inferences about the event. A new payment transaction that looks similar to a previously identified cluster of mostly fraudulent payment transactions, for example, may be higher risk. The present disclosure includes structural data improvements to the way that online clustering of events (which may include web events and not just payment transactions) occurs. A new event can be classified into a particular segment very quickly using feature table searching, which can allow for better decision making when a short timeframe is required (e.g. transaction processing, online advertising, etc.).

The hazardous condition alert can also be sent to the highway transportation department so that the hazardous condition can be mitigated.

A user interface meter shown on the website indicates to potential buyers how much interest there is in the product and/or service being sold so that peer activity is exhibited to potential buyers to encourage sales and impulsive buying behavior. Pricing is dynamic and adjusts in real-time at a rate determined by the amount of users accessing the website.

A portion of the dexterity devices is snake like, which is re-configurable (i.e., can be bent) so as to in effect maneuver the surgical tool and put the tool in a desired position with respect to the surgical site. Abstract: Rapidly handling large data sets can be a challenge, particularly in situations where there are millions or even hundreds of millions of database records. Sometimes, however, a service level agreement necessitates that a service return a response to a query in a small amount of time. Database organization techniques can be used that reduce potentially large datasets to smaller groups (neighbors) based on uncommon but shared attributes, in various instances. Using a limited set of related records, queries can be answered using a focused approximation based on characteristics of various identified clusters of records in the set of related records. A particular record may also be associated with an existing cluster of records based on that record's similarities to records in the cluster.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in a search system supported by or configured with search servers, applications or platforms. The systems interact to identify and retrieve data across platforms, which data can be used to improve the quality of results data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel framework for automatically analyzing items, including real-world items and digital content items, in order to determine their attributes (e.g., characteristics, features, and the like), and based on the determined attributes, generating a user interface (UI) that displays the items and their respective attributes in an interactive, dynamically updatable and searchable multidimensional display.

According to various embodiments, a system receives a query input including one or more search terms from a client device associated with a member profile. The system generates a query from the one or more search terms and one or more profile terms. The system causes one or more query machines to search one or more inverted indices using the query and receives one or more result of documents distributed across the inverted indices. The system generates an ordered list of the one or more result sets and causes presentation of the ordered list at a client device associated with the member profile.

Abstract: Methods and systems for developing a behavioral index model are described. According to various embodiments, the system accesses a set of behavioral data stored in association with a set of member profiles. The system generates a set of training data from the set of behavioral data and generates a set of feature vectors from the set of training data. The system generates a behavioral index model from the set of training data and the set of feature vectors. The system then generates a tuned behavioral index model from the behavioral index model by tuning a threshold of the behavioral index model using a precision recall curve.

Abstract: A computer system can provide user interfaces and back-end operations to facilitate review of the web requests. The system can detect whether an operation of an application called by a web request includes a review tag or a call to a review method. If a review tag or a call to a review method is detected, the middleware can initiate a review process that can include receiving input from a client device associated with a human reviewer. Upon receiving approval by the reviewer, the web request can be generated using a saved version of the original web request and executed. Thus, this review process can run without requiring that code for reviewing the web request be contained within the web request or the application called by the web request.
