  • Patent number: 11232250
Abstract: A uniform resource locator (URL) link inserted into a note or document can be enhanced through a capture service for curation and collaboration applications, including notebook applications. A local notebook application can call the capture service by sending a request for a webpage representation with a URL indicated for insertion into the note. The local notebook application can receive the representation of the content referenced by the URL in a format customized for the local client. The representation can be displayed as part of a preview window and user interface for inserting a clipping, URL or other content into a note. The capture service can take the URL sent by the local application and take a screenshot of a separately rendered webpage referenced by the URL.

  • Patent number: 11232160
Abstract: A data management services architecture includes architectural components that run in both a storage and compute domains. The architectural components redirect storage requests from the storage domain to the compute domain, manage resources allocated from the compute domain, ensure compliance with a policy that governs resource consumption, deploy program code for data management services, dispatch service requests to deployed services, and monitor deployed services. The architectural components also include a service map to locate program code for data management services, and service instance information for monitoring deployed services and dispatching requests to deployed services. Since deployed services can be stateless or stateful, the services architecture also includes state data for the stateful services, with supporting resources that can expand or contract based on policy and/or service demand. The architectural components also include containers for the deployed services.

  • Patent number: 11232300
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically verifying optical character recognition (OCR) detected text of a native electronic document having an image layer comprising a matrix of pixels and a text layer comprising a sequence of characters. The method includes determining a location of OCR-detected text in the text layer of the native electronic document based on a pixel-based coordinate location of the OCR-detected text in the image layer of the native electronic document. The method also includes applying the location of the OCR-detected text to the text layer of the native electronic document to detect text in the text layer corresponding to the OCR-detected text. The method also includes rendering only the detected text in the text layer as an output when the OCR-detected text does not match the detected text in the text layer, to improve accuracy of the output text.

  • Patent number: 11232475
Abstract: Systems and methods for influencing an Internet-based marketing campaign are provided. An introduction panel is sent to a plurality of N generation recipients. Each respective N generation recipient that uses the introduction panel to invite N+1 generation recipients is tracked. An invitation panel is sent to the N+1 generation recipients. Which respective N+1 generation recipients use the invitation panel to perform a defined campaign action is tracked. Each respective N generation recipient is credited with N+1 generation recipients that (i) were invited to the campaign by the N generation recipient and (ii) performs a campaign action. These steps are repeated for subsequent generations N. For each N generation recipient credited during these repeated steps, each ancestor recipient that invited (i) the respective N generation recipient or (ii) another ancestor of the respective N generation recipient to the campaign is also credited.

  • Patent number: 11231945
Abstract: A live help system provides an intuitive display of help information on a user's graphical user interface. A request is received from a client device for help, and a live help provider interface is initiated at a live help location. Data is acquired regarding a user's location, including data on external devices in the user's location. Indicators are provided to allow the live help provider to point to or otherwise indicate items on the user interface or outside of the user interface. Live help input is captured at the live help provider interface. Instructions are then transmitted to the display of the client device to display live help input, as though the agent were present and interacting with or indicating items on the screen or off the screen.

  • Patent number: 11231448
Abstract: A power monitoring device (PMD) can perform real-time remote managing, status reporting and analysis on the health/condition of equipment connected to the PMD. For example, a PMD provides data such as whether the equipment connected is idling, fully operating, malfunctioning, etc. The PMD can turn the power on/off, trigger system alert, and perform time-delayed or special profile programming to manage and monitor equipment usage. A power signature identification capability can identify what equipment such as monitor, laptop, lighting equipment, etc., are being connected. A configuration can be used by the power management device based at least in part on the waveform information (e.g., device model, activity status, etc.). Real-time diagnosis and collection of energy consumption and usage pattern can be aggregated for planning and management. Asset management can be enabled by discovering which models of devices are active and connected to a predetermined power management device.

  • Patent number: 11230568
Abstract: The subject invention pertains to a modified MC1R peptide ligand comprising a peptide that is a melanocortin 1 receptor (MC1R) ligand and a functionality or linker, such as a click functionality, for conjugation to a surface or agent. The modified MC1R peptide ligand can be coupled, e.g., via a click reaction with a complementary click functionality attached, to a moiety to form an MC1R-targeted agent. Drugs, contrast agents, polymers, particles, micelles, surfaces of larger structures, or other moieties can be targeted to the MC1R. The subject invention also pertains to a MC1R peptide ligand-micelle complex comprising a peptide that is a melanocortin 1 receptor ligand connected via a click reaction product to a micelle. The micelle is stable in vivo and can target melanoma tumor cells by association of the peptide ligand with the MC1R or the tumor and selectively provide a detectable and/or therapeutic agent (such as an imageable contrast agent and/or anti-cancer agent) selectively to the tumor cell.

  • Patent number: 11232956
Abstract: A system and method of using electrochemical additive manufacturing to add interconnection features, such as wafer bumps or pillars, or similar structures like heatsinks, to a plate such as a silicon wafer. The plate may be coupled to a cathode, and material for the features may be deposited onto the plate by transmitting current from an anode array through an electrolyte to the cathode. Position actuators and sensors may control the position and orientation of the plate and the anode array to place features in precise positions. Use of electrochemical additive manufacturing may enable construction of features that cannot be created using current photoresist-based methods. For example, pillars may be taller and more closely spaced, with heights of 200 ?m or more, diameters of 10 ?m or below, and inter-pillar spacing below 20 ?m. Features may also extend horizontally instead of only vertically, enabling routing of interconnections to desired locations.
